About this listen

I made a deal with my worst enemy. Now, he won’t let me go.

I had a plan: sign a contract, escape to Ibiza, and rebuild my life.

It didn’t include Harrison King. A British billionaire with a sharp mind, a sharper tongue, and a reputation as ruthless as his business empire.

He’s the reason my world went up in flames. The last person I’d ever trust. But he offers me a way out. One that comes with fine print and even finer temptation…and I can’t afford to say no.

Now, I’m in his world. Under his roof. Following his rules.

The fire between us is impossible to ignore, and the more I learn about the man behind the tailored suits and cocky smirk, the more dangerous he becomes...

Not because he’s my enemy.

Because he might be something more.

The Enemies Trilogy is a complete, sizzling, high-stakes billionaire romance filled with fierce chemistry, breathtaking twists, and irresistible tension. Perfect for fans of enemies-to-lovers, powerful heroes, and heroines who refuse to back down.

Get ready for a fabulous trilogy. This will pull you in until you slowly find out how it will end! We start with Beautiful Enemy. Rae is working on fixing her reputation as a DJ, always changing her look and enjoying that chance to hide herself. Harrison is the man who has created this mess. And now he is going to make her life even worse. Making a deal to honor her contract, help her roommate and repair her life, Rae moves into Harrison's house and is working to make his nightclub a success. Next is Beautiful Sins where find out about Rae's past, and how she dealt with it gives us a good understanding of what has shaped her. Harrison is still trying to clear his parents' names, but this does not take precedence over his want and need for Rae. Last is Beautiful Ruin and is action packed! Twists and turns when it comes to business and passion is hot and heavy one minute and muted the next! This misfit family is sweet and loyal, and we also get cameos from Annie, Tyler and Beck! This is a fantastic ending to their story! So good, I can't even tell you!

Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East are Rae and Harrison. I am so glad this team brought this story to life. Brentmoor is fabulous as Rae, finding the essence of her personality and building on it through the books. She evolves along with the characters. East continues Harrison's broodiness, but his heart is definitely more prominent in this book. We can hear his changing outlook. This is a fantastic listen!

Fabulous series!

This is the first in the Enemies series. It’s definitely a slow burn as to be expected with a 4 book series, but I love getting the characters’ backgrounds and the start of their dynamic. We get a look into why they are enemies to begin with and maybe conclusions were jumped to rather than dealing with a situation head on?

Sam and Shane are brilliant with their portrayals of Rae and Harrison. I love that this one is it dual to hear each of them flex their accent chops with Rae being American and Harrison being British, and Sam has the best male voice for a femme narrator.

These two are giving me whiplash. 😂😂 one minute they love each other, the next minute something tears them apart. I feel like having an adult conversation and actually working through the problems they’re facing would put them light years ahead of where they’ve left off in this second book of the series. I do love how strong of a character Rae is and it cracks me up that Harrison uses his money and power to get what he wants, but when it comes to what he wants most, none of that really matters.

Once again Sam and Shane are the absolute best. They really showcase their dynamic and the full range of emotions that both characters go through in this book.

The conclusion to the main trilogy was a fantastic end of Rae and Harrison’s love story. Lots of scheming and plotting to make sure Harrison gets the girl and the club he wants, and Rae just wants to expand her career and take down drug dealers hurting the women at her shows. I didn’t really connect with the one year later between Beautiful Sins and Beautiful Ruin since I binged the series all the way through so it really taught me a lesson on, no matter how much I don’t like cliffhangers, they do have a purpose. It just felt like everything happened so quickly when in reality a long time had passed between the end of the last book and the start of this one.

Sam and Shane were wonderful yet again. They will always be two of my favorites and they portrayed Rae and Harrison in the best light.

I do wish this has the entire novella included but it doesn’t.

I loved this trilogy by Piper Lawson, and I especially loved listening to the audiobook compilation of all 3 (Beautiful Enemy, Beautiful Sin and Beautiful Ruin). Reading it this way made the story completely seamless, and I loved that. It felt like one giant book, and I think that just speaks volumes to the talent of this author. This was my first read of Piper Lawson, and it definitely will not be my last!

Enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, slow burn tension, boss/employee - so many good tropes all rolled into one book. Rae is a strong female FMC determined to make her mark on the DJ world as the the first top 10 female DJ artist in the world. She wants to play at the best venues, starting with Harrison's club in Ibiza. Except Rae doesn't know it's Harrison's club, and when she finds out, she's not happy. There's no way out of her contract though so she has to buckle in and ride it out. Little did she know she would find more in Ibiza than an amazing jump start to her career.

These two are epic enemies to lovers. Their attraction is evident from the very beginning, and Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor do a fantastic job of pulling you into this story and their chemistry. It's hot and spicy and everything you want in a high-stakes billionaire romance.

This trilogy is full of witty banter, loads of tension and angst.
Piper Lawson writes amazing female main characters and sexy strong male main characters. I really enjoyed this series and her writing style.

British billionaire Harrison has a nightclub that he is trying to gain more business all while purchasing another. Rae is the best female DJ around and Harrison has contracted her for his club.

Through close proximity and the contract these enemies become more.

Truly a great listen! Would recommend 100%

Another great story from Piper Lawson! This trilogy will take you on an adventure and it seems like, at times, the story keeps going on and on but then I had to remember it was three books in one. There are some twists and turns to keep you engaged along the way. Add in amazing narrators, Samantha Brentmoore and Shane East, and you have an amazing story to listen to.

Rae and Harrison

Enemies owns a my soul. This was my first Piper Lawson obsession, my first taste of #EastMoor (Shane + Samantha — unstoppable), and a trilogy I revisit often.

Harrison King is a forever book husband. British billionaire, ruthless, dangerously pretty in a suit, fuelled by vengeance over his parents’ death — and then Reagan Medani storms in and flips his world upside down. She calls him out for unsafe conditions for female staff at his clubs, drags him on social media, tanks her own career in the process… and next thing she knows, she’s living in his Ibiza villa and DJing at his club.

Enemies who can’t escape each other. Forced proximity. Age gap. Mafia shadows lurking. Tension that will melt your earbuds. The banter? Sharp enough to cut glass. The twists? Rude. The payoff? Worth every second of the meltdown.

And the audio? I have no words. Shane East is the gold standard for British heroes — his Harrison is broody, cheeky, dirty-mouthed and wrecks you when he turns soft. When he says Love in that accent? Good luck surviving. Samantha is a powerhouse — her Rae is fierce, raw, and holds her own perfectly. Together? Next level.

This trilogy doesn’t just live rent-free — it’s lives in my soul. It’s one of my top age-gap romances and extra special because I married a DJ, so the club life hits different. Piper Lawson is one of my forever authors — must be protected at all costs. She gave us Harrison King and I'll never recover.

And the best part? It’s complete. Three books, one Audible credit. Binge responsibly. How do you rate something that lives in your soul? 10 out of 10 Highly recommend.

Piper Lawson's Enemies, narrated by Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor, plunges listeners into a high-stakes battle of wills and undeniable attraction. When Rae's career is in shambles, she agrees to an anonymous deal for a fresh start, only to discover her benefactor is none other than Harrison King—the magnetic British billionaire responsible for her public downfall. The premise, "I sold my soul to a man I hate. Now, he owns me," sets a tantalizing stage for the ensuing drama.

Harrison, a man who "flies private" and "dates supermodels," is a force to be reckoned with. East's narration perfectly captures his "crisp accent and cocky smirk," revealing the "gentleman on the outside, a savage beneath." As Rae finds herself under Harrison's roof in Ibiza, bound by his rules and control, the tension crackles. Brentmoor masterfully conveys Rae's internal conflict and resilience, especially as she navigates her burning resentment and the inescapable pull she feels towards the man who "destroyed her reputation."

Enemies delivers on its promise of an intense enemies-to-lovers romance. The close quarters force Rae and Harrison to confront not only their past but also a powerful, untamed attraction. With secrets on both sides—"Harrison King knows my secrets... But kings keep secrets too"—listeners are kept on the edge of their seats, eager to see how this dangerous dance of power and passion will conclude.

When a king finds his queen. When she wants him to do better, be better and for her he will.
Rae is a female DJ who speaks up for women when it comes to abuse. She wanted to be heard and because of that her career was ruined. Then she finds herself being owned by the very man who ruined her career because he believes she owes him for tarnishing his clubs reputation.
Harrison is a gorgeous British billionaire who is trying to seek revenge against the man who is responsible for the death of his parents. He is so blinded by it that he ends up hurting the people who he loves the most when he thinks it’s protecting them. He doesn’t believe he deserves love and shuts himself off to everyone.
