Morgan has managed to get through a lot. Having made it back to his family and dealt with the issues of unscrupulous neighbors, he then had to deal with the presence of the federal government and their nefarious activities. But with the help of his close-knit group he prevailed. Life is settling into a familiar routine. And with the help of the US Army, they are starting to rebuild their community. But just when Morgan thinks things are assuming some kind of normal, another surprise lands in his lap. He's made sheriff.

Harkening back to a time when law enforcement was a local face in the community, Morgan is forced to step up and be that face, much to his chagrin. With the help of Thad, Danny, and the rest of the crew, he accepts the challenge and tries to make a positive impact. But he's in for yet another surprise. New foes will arise, and old ones will return to conspire to destroy his efforts.

Morgan's group will suffer loss, injury, and constant assault. His new position has made him a target as well as those he loves. The peace and tranquility that the group has fought so hard for will continue to elude them. The fight, as Morgan soon learns, is just beginning.

Would you listen to Enforcing Home again? Why?

Yes, I typically like to listen to the whole story just before the next one in a series comes out, I also like to listen at least twice to see if I missed something. I almost always find something I missed.

What did you like best about this story?

I would probably have to give a spoiler to say what I liked best. Lets just say I like how new characters can just blend in with the story so well.

Which character – as performed by Duke Fontaine – was your favorite?

That is hard to say. Duke really does justice to all of them. I'm always interested to see how Sarge will say something and when little bit says something to sarge like hi Mr Sarge.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

I am really enjoying this series. Keep the books coming and I will keep listening.... Maybe someday I will be able to watch this series. It would be awesome to see on TV.

Yes Duke brings the characters to life. I own the book in both print and audio

Where does Enforcing Home rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is my favorite series in this genre.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Morgan, he is so much more than he knows he is. It has been a great adventure to watch Morgan grow into any role that is thrown his way.

Have you listened to any of Duke Fontaine’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Duke is one of my Favorites, and his reading of this series brings everything together in an audible manner that is exactly the way that I had imagined as I read the series.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Get knocked down 6 times, and get up 7.

I have read all 7 books in a month. Faster than I have read any other book series. I could not put them down. I cannot wait for book 8.

To start.. not my cup of tea.. but my boyfriend had me hook in 45 min.. I had to stop to google a few things.... mostly guns.. MRE.. NVG..etc... but now I feel that I am no longer one of the "sheepeople"!😂 amazing books...every time every book!! Keep them coming!

Was searching high and low when I found A. American survivalist series. The first book immediately roped me in and have been binge reading every since. His character development is amazing, especially since there are so many characters to love. Makes you feel like you know this family! Story is realistic and informative when it comes to survival in a sad new world. Duke Fontaine is the perfect narrator for theses books! Can’t wait to start Avenging Home!
