Publisher's summary

His father unknown, his mother dead, Nicholas Roman was raised by the vampire Breed with one wish: to live as a normal vampire. But once he's transformed against his will into a gifted immortal, Nicholas now has one goal: to stop the Eternal Order of vampires from controlling his life and from transforming more males from his bloodline for their vicious reign. Then comes a beautiful stranger with a startling secret....

Vampire Kate Everborne claims she's sheltering Nicholas's long-lost son. If this is true, then who is the mother? And how endangered are they if, indeed, Nicholas does possess the bloodline so coveted by the Order? These are questions that with every seductive whisper, every silken touch, draw Nicholas and Kate intimately closer and nearer still to the truth. But aroused too are Nicholas's fears that this tantalizing woman has even more secrets - both dangerous and provocative - she has yet to share.

Love in vein: listen to another Mark of the Vampire title.

Critic reviews

"Gentle emotions are not for the Roman brothers, as their destined mates are fated to learn. Complex and riveting!" (Romantic Times)

Good edition to the series

This book was just as good as the first one to me. I did like how Nicholas changed for the better when he met Kate. I liked how protective Kate and Nicholas were of each other and Vlad. I still wish that the author would have added a little more about what happens after they finally were able to be together. In this one and the last book it’s seems a bit rushed bcuz they finally are able to be together and then it ends. This one did have a little more romance to it then the last which was was nice and the sex scenes were good. Tavia Gilbert again was a great narrator

Vulgar

While I enjoy hot and steamy this book made me cringe at times with the “C” word used to describe lady parts. The way the author describes the romantic scenes is more pornography than romance. The basic story line is good though.

Really like the book and the whole series!

Would you listen to Eternal Kiss again? Why?

Maybe in a couple years. I listen to so many books that I would probably forget the entire story and wouldn't mind a refresher.

What other book might you compare Eternal Kiss to and why?

Well let me say this, if you liked these books, you will like the Demonica/Eternal Rider series!

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

In this series, Lucias!! LOVED HIM

Sexy but.....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No, I wouldn't. While it's not a bad read, they use the word cunt alot. I'm not a prude or anything, but that's such an ugly word. I wish the author would have chosen something different to call it rather than something so vulgar.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She sounded more like a YA narrator.

Bad boys rock

Oh yea this is a very good series. I can't give enough of this series. Kate is a strong female character and just the right person for Nicholas. His big secret is a surprise but you find yourself dragged into is torment and want him to survive. But it is not only his story that makes this interesting it's all the other characters. This books leaves you wanting more and more of the Roman brothers.

Where is the plot?

This book isn't very good. The plot is lacking and sadly so are the sex scenes. I read others' reviews and many gushed about the book. I guess I just don't see it.

Great Series!

I love the Roman brothers, their true loves and the obstacles they go through to get them! Plus Tavia Gilbert’s narrative gives the story that extra bust! Can’t wait to read more!

Tavia Gilbert is awsome.

Without a doubt narrators can make or brake a book when choosing to listen to it instead of reading it & Tavia Gilbert just makes the authors characters come totally to life. Takes a good story & makes it better. She does that here just as she does for the great Jeaniene Frost's stories. And for sure this is a very good & entertaining story. Can't wait for book 3.

Much better than book one!

I wasn’t terribly impressed with book one but, I must admit that book two was much better. The story is more intriguing and there is much more going on. I do find some of the words that the author has invented to be synonyms to words like virgin and the titles of female and male full-blooded vampires, to be laughable. I’ve done my best to ignore the weaknesses and just enjoy the story.

I will be honest and say that, so far, this series does not compare to The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Immortal Guardians or The Midnight Breed but it is entertaining. I will also mention that if the three series I just mentioned are too violent and the sex to graphic, this series might just be your speed. This series is PG13 to an R rating for the other three.
