About this listen

I don't remember booking a first-class ticket to hell…

An all-expense paid trip to Europe. What could be more enticing than that?

Well, other than having the surgeon I fantasize about daily as my travel companion.

To me, that's all Lucian Aston is—a highly sophisticated, posh Englishman who stars in my daydreams. Mostly because of the way he views me as a loud, boisterous, no-nonsense surgical nurse he's stuck touring London and Paris with up to the day of his groundbreaking surgery.

Until then, we've got a lot of downtime to kill. So, it's only natural that I put my best foot forward to get to know him a little better.

Problem is Lucian has no intention of taking a single step in his fancy wingtips to meet me halfway. That is until we strike our deal…

For the next six weeks, it'll be a no-holds-barred, balls-to-the-wall reckoning between me and the prickly heart doctor as I get to know the man behind the scowl and scalpel.

That's the thing about the good doctor's surgical specialty and his skill in the heart department. The more we spend time together, the more I run the risk of losing mine.

Even so, I'm prepared for anything. Or at least I think I am.

You see, there are the best-laid plans for the dream getaway you drum up in your mind, and then there's reality.

In all my careful planning, I don't at all recall booking a first-class ticket to hell.

Euro Dreams is a spicy romantic dramedy standalone with all the feels from the international and USA Today bestselling author of The Plight Before Christmas and The Ravenhood Trilogy.

I so wanted to love it!!!

I worry Kate has set the bar too high!!! I truly struggled getting through this audiobook!! There was so much anticipation waiting to listen to it.
I feel like 4⭐️ is very fair. It was overall a 4 at best.
Again, I truly wanted to love it, but, I did not.

Heartbreakingly Beautiful

I have read Euro Dreams when it was first released and loved every second of it. From the banter between Lucian and Jane was so funny. I laughed and cried throughout the whole book. The audio was just as amazing listening to these characters come to life is one of the reasons I love audiobooks.

Calling Dr. Grumpy and Nurse Sunshine

Another Kate Stewart for me to add to my favorites pile! Loved the chemistry, spice and banter between Jane and Lucian! She broke down his stuffy walls and he showed her that she was worthy of love. Oh and let’s not even forget about ANOTHER CAMEO 😱🤭♥️. Loved it and can easily see this being a great movie!

Swoooooon 💕

What I love so much about Kate Stewart novels is ALL the feelings! Her character development is so noteworthy, in that I find myself rooting for and also irritated with ALL the characters at various points, but in all
The best ways. The way she captures the “human” and fallible parts of people is incomparable.

This story in particular was no different. Lucien and his learned ability to communicate emotion is so incredibly endearing and HOT! The only thing I struggled with in this audiobook was the female narrator’s thickkk southern, raspy accent, when no other triple residents seem to have it, or at least notably. And that at times the male sounded EXACTLY like Hugh Grant which took away from my imagined look of him. But otherwise, the story flowed so well and I binged 15hs WAY too quickly!

Another Fantastic Read!

Another fantastic addition for my triple falls community. This trip to Europe had the total package for checking all of the boxes if you want it, this book has it somewhere. The narrarator were an added bonus to bringing this story to life.

A movie worthy book!

I wasn’t sure going in if I’ll be to get the same feels like Kate’s other works. But here we are. I’m in another book hangover! Which means I greatly enjoyed it. Kate packs so much realistic events into her books that she takes you on the journey herself!
Jane and Lucian were both strong characters. Lucian’s character growth is stunning. The heartbreak was really felt.
I don’t know what others are complaining about. I’m so glad this was NOT narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden. While they are a good team, it’s boring to always listen to them.
Grant Cartwright surpassed my expectations as Lucian. Especially the last two chapters where he breaks down. It was emotional and I liked the way he brought Lucian’s emotions out. His performance was top notch, great accent and well suited for the nerdy, facts loving 36 year old cardio thoracic surgeon. He nailed this role perfectly!
Saskia was amazing as well with her raspy, cheeky voice. At times, I felt like she could have delivered a tad slower, softer, but it never took me out of the character. This was one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to in a while!
I want to immediately re-listen, which is always my indicator of a great audiobook!
