Awesome!

I read both of the Everlasting books by Amanda Ashley. Very well written and very romantic. It was made even better being narrated by Jennifer Ikeda. Jennifer has a way of pulling you into the story with her soothing and sensual voice. Her ability to change from one character to another is seamless. So sad there isn't another book in the series.

The early vamp catches the human

THIS reminds me of, tongue in cheek, the more innocent early writings of vampire romance. It invites the reader to use their h Having said that, it was refreshing. Plus had some plot twists and turns that had me eagerly reading on. The romance won't fog your glasses, but will warm your heart. Amana is a good writer of this genre. The Narrator was fine. There weren't any challanging accents, and I could disern character changes, as well as gender with ease.

Hmmmm

The book had promise until the heroine starts to mourn her lost youth because she's pushing 30 (paranoid narcissist much?) and tells the hero (who has a remarkable amount in common with Sookie Stackhouse's hero, Eric) that, at 25, he's aged well. Please!!! was this author pre-pubescent when writing this? In what universe is a 30 year old considered an aging hag?

Not her best work...

This book was very similar to others she's written before, but it seemed to drag to much. I guess it was hard for me to find my inner cougar, even though the main male character is 512 years old I couldn't look past his 20 yr old physical age (she's 29). I much preferred her book Nights Master, that is one I hope to see at Audible.
