About this listen

It was your smile.

Your laugh.

The color of your eyes.

The way you looked at me when no one else was looking.

The way you held me.

The way you kissed me.

It was everything about you I loved.

The flattening of that smile.

The silence of your laughter.

The loss of your lips.

The way you left.

The way you destroyed it all.

The way you destroyed me.

Destroyed us.

It was everything about you I hated.

Everything about you.

I wanted.

Needed.

Hoped for.

And that day, you not only broke my heart.

You f--king crushed it.

Note: Everything About You is a stand-alone gay (M/M) second chance romance. Please refer to the content note at the beginning of the book before buying or listening. As always, this book doesn’t have a cliff-hanger and an HEA is guaranteed.

Wonderful story.

I loved this book. I was so happy at the end because everything came together, but the middle was good too.

Wonderful

I got very i vested in the characters, their mix of anger, sadness and anguish and the consuming love they had for one another was everything i hoped for.

Wanted More

The story left me frustrated. The book is written very well and I was completely invested in the characters, however I felt too much of the story was in the past instead of the present. The author spent so much time on the issues from the past and then when it got to the present storyline it was written almost as a recap. I wanted more to the ending.

An amazing listen!!!

Second chances. Friends to lovers. A deep, passionate love. I finished this book this afternoon and it has stuck with me all evening. It's that kind of book. Ronan and Tate, college students, meet in a creative writing class. Ronan's instant attraction to this good looking senior has him hanging out with him in any capacity he can. The two end up best friends, until one night everything changes. This story is about real life. Dealing with changes, realizing who you are, understanding feelings, knowing what you want, and giving it your all. Jeanne St James once again pens a story taking two people and letting them find their way. Ronan is comfortable with who he is. I loved him from the first chapter and loved following his successes. I felt his heartache though, which made his vulnerability real. Tate took a little longer to warm up to. His path was so muddled with expectations and I respected his decisions, but truly began loving him when he took control of his life. The past and present style is the perfect way for us to follow this love story, feel and fall in love.

Ronan and Tate are perfectly cast with Lance Greenfield and Jack Calihan. Greenfield plays Ronan, emotional as a student, and confident businessman. He holds the hurt and passion his voice letting us know his heart. Tate is a difficult one, as he leads a dual life and Calihan deals with his own confusion and feelings. These two are an incredible casting for this book and made for a fantastic listen.

**Spoilers** **TW** Tate is a pathetic cheater.

Made it a little past halfway through this book. So disgusted I had to stop.

Tate, throughout the 1st half of the book, is nothing but apologies and misery because hes made so many "mistakes" in his life (How is repeatedly cheating "making a mistake " when it requires so much planning, lying, and sneaking around?)

Then, suddenly Tate decides to "crash his lips" (not verbatim) against Ronan's - who is trying to walk away - because he (Tate) has decided that he's punished himself enough and now is going to go after what he wants.

I had to stop there. Tate is nothing but a selfish p.o.s. feeling sorry for himself b/c he has chosen to cheat on his girlfriend, then his boyfriend, then his wife. Repeatedly. And now he is taking what he wants (kissing Ronan) I guess because he still thinks its all about him.

I may or may not finish this, but right now it is just garbage, and sends a really sad message about what truly making amends should look like, and when forgiveness is really earned (hint: should probably take more than a couple of weeks for everything he's done, if ever.)

If I do finish this book and it somehow redeems itself, I'll be happy to change my rating. But right now, I'm just disgusted.
