Kill the bad guys. Save the Galaxy. All in a hard day’s work.

After striking a serious blow to the Brotherhood, Eddie and Julianna have learned the name of their enemy: Felix Castile. He is a man of fortune, power, and madness, and his revenge is coming.

Castile won’t be deterred so easily. His armory is already restocked and his resolve to take General Reynolds down reinforced. However, this evil mastermind makes a big mistake when he allows Knox Gunnerson to escape.

The kid knows too much.

Under heavy fire, Knox takes off in search of help. He might be young and inexperienced, but he’s seen Castile’s face, and he knows how to find him. Eddie and Julianna follow the clues Knox gives them, hoping to find out where the enemy will strike next. Unfortunately, they find themselves one step behind Castile.

The Trid and Brotherhood are pawns in Castile’s deadly game. He wants revenge. He wants power. And he’s setting himself up to declare war. But Eddie and Julianna made a promise to protect the Federation.

No matter the cost.

Experience this exciting military sci-fi saga and the latest addition to the expanded Kurtherian Gambit Universe. If you’re a fan of Mass Effect, Firefly, or Star Wars, you’ll love this riveting new space opera.

Balls of Steel

First let me say that there are lot of incredible scenes in this book. But the biggest balls award has to go to Lars. To infiltrate the Nexus base, then walk among the Brotherhood announcing their defeat without immediate proof. Huge testicles. I think his part in this secret war is underrated. I love all the characters, but I think he stole the show in that scene.
Great work, keep it up

A wonderful edition to the series.

Reviewer: Teresa Fallen Angel

Summary:
As Eddie and his team continue to fight for all of humanity they find out who their true enemy is Felix Castile. Castile makes his move to resupply his troups, he makes a tactile error allowing one man, Knox, from the doomed gun runners to escape. Knox inadvertently finds his way to Eddie’s team where he finds a common goal, to take down Castile.

After listening to the first two books, I thought of Eddie as a cowboy in space, but it was incredible that this story allowed the reader to see how Eddie responded to a the west when they visited the society based on the old west. Knox shows his worth when he puts his life on the line to protect the team. It is funny how Julianna has a hot/cold relationship with Eddie leaving the reader wondering if there is more to her feelings than she realizes. Eddie is determined to succeed, but the stakes a definitely higher as they continue to risk their lives on every mission. I will be waiting to see what will happen next.

Fun, action packed story

I loved this 3rd book in the Ghost Squadron series. The character growth is amazing in this story and I love the new character. Lots of action, humor, suspense, twists and thrills keep you glued to the page and the narrator does a good job of bringing the story to life. You do need to read these books in order or you will not get the full impact of some parts of this book. It’s a fast action story with great characters that leaves you wanting the next in the series.

Leaves you wanting more

To start with I think I’m going to like this new Knox character I hope he shows up in more stories. He’s confident and strong when needed but also has a venerable side to him.
And what the has happened to Eddie we know at the end that he’s survived a major incident but at what costs. I’m pretty sure I’ve pieced together what may have happened but I need to wait for the next book 😩
I’m beginning to think that Julianna and Eddie maybe having feelings for each other. But who knows it may just be that their friendship is on more stable ground. Anyway I’m off in search of the next book in this series. 🤨

Nonstop excitement

This is the third book I’ve read/listened to by these authors. I am really enjoying this series. The characters are entertaining, engaging and I often find myself laughing while listening. There is an interesting mix of human and alien characters. I like how the team gets into conflicts, but they often don’t come out slick and squeaky- they’re always on the verge of loosing.

This is the third book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Chris Abernathy ) and his narration is getting better. I’m enjoying the voices he’s given to the characters. Fewer characters have that gravelly, yelling voice). His female voice is not soft and sweet, but neither is the character. I think it is appropriate. It’s very similar to Eddie’s voice, but I’m become accustomed to it and can now hear the difference more.

There are no explicit sex scenes, there is violence and swearing, but not excessive.

Three writers working together!? This book was hard to put down with lots of twist n' turns. Intrigue and suspense, humor & hope... without an "dead spots"!

Evolution!

This series just keep getting better and better! If you love snarky, tough as nails characters, space adventures and great writing, give this series a chance.

Sarah Noffke has become one of favorite authors and her books never fail to entertain and give me a great adventure. Whether she is writing about werewolves, vampires, witches, or aberrant unicorns, I love her work! I was a little skeptical at first when I saw that she was writing space opera, but I have been pleasantly surprised by this series!

Each book brings on a new adventure and adds in more great characters while tying into the previous books. I love the character development and hope that the authors continue to write many more in this series so that some of the minor characters have more time in the stories.

The narrator does a wonderful job with all of the different characters and you know exactly who is talking even before the book tells you. Wonderful dialects for the different species, great inflections and his narration adds a lot to the enjoyment of the book.

I was given the chance to listen to this book by one of the authors (actually, I threatened to smack her if I didn't get the book!) and chose to review it. But, I would gladly use an Audible credit to purchase this book or any other in the series!

I like it

My third read from the collaborative efforts of authors Sarah Noffke & Michael Anderle. Not as tightly woven as the first 2 books, but a series of seemingly random encounters pulled together for the book. An exciting, enjoyable read with well-developed, memorable characters. Narrator Chris Abernathy again adds greatly to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to Ghost Squadron #4.

A fun space adventure

Evolution continues the fun Ghost Squadron series with it's quirky, cool characters, and fast paced action. The story is engaging and throws in a few unexpected twists. This book is part of a series, so I'd recommend starting with the first book, but I think you can also enjoy it independently. This series is a bit like Star Trek with cursing, so if that sounds fun, be sure to check it out! The narrator of the audio book does a decent job and brings the humor out in the book, but he really doesn't do female voices.
