George Guidall's impressive narration makes this book worth listening and with audiobooks it is narration first. Though i dog Caunitz a little for the plot of the book it is probably over expectation on my part. I thoroughly enjoyed Chains of Command and Pigtown was a superb listen..........so compared to those two Exceptional Clearance is third...;;

Exceptional Clearance is well written but the story was IDK kinda "out there" for Caunitz. Exciting start that dilutes even with the climactic ending. Having said that there are lots of great and exciting moments in the book. Caunitz stretched a little with the vampire stuff. To me that ending was scrambled and a little hurried. I will probably give Exceptional Clearance another go soon. One listen to a great author like Caunitz with Guidall is not enough. Do it.

It is worth a credit and a listen or i would not review it. Just trust me, I hope you fellow listeners enjoy.
