About this listen

Progress slowed by good intentions, Beau and his companions are bloody, tired, hungry, and beset by possible enemies on all sides. In Crossroads, our travelers will come up against the immovable object that could end their journey once and for all, The North Carolina Highway Patrol. Will Beau find a way home to Trudy? Will Trudy, find her way to the farm, or will Pork and his family finally exact the retribution that may be inevitable? Come along for another ride on 85!

I like this author's tape on what the government can do to mess up a terrible situation.

Beau moving slowly to get home, still picking up strays. His wife continues to move toward their farm. There are times the story goes back to others that the two main characters came across in their travel and tells what happens to them. Some might like that, but I feel the author puts it in to stretch the length of the book and it’s not needed.

Still good series
