Demons, witches, mortal enemies, and shared quests!

Continue this action-packed supernatural medical series with three more audiobooks in one set! This set includes audiobooks four to six in the Extreme Medical Services series.

Audiobook four, Paramedic's Hunter, continues the saga with paranormal paramedic Dean Flynn, who doesn't know he's now being hunted by demons. Add in paranormal creature hunter Jaz Errington, who hunts the creatures he heals? In this case, opposites do not attract.

When paramedic and hunter are thrown together on a quest to rescue a kidnapped angel, who also happens to be Dean's missing girlfriend, sparks fly. Throw in a powerful teenaged witch to join the quest, and they have a recipe for disaster, not a rescue.

Paramedic's Witch, audiobook five in the series, picks up with a teen witch, reluctant parents, and a demon hunt.

Joanna Errington-Flynn is a normal 15-year-old, well, except that she's a witch from the future. Since she was sent back from her parents' future, she has saved their lives and saved the world. Now, she wants nothing more than to return home to her own time.

Jo's parents, paramedic to the supernatural Dean Flynn and demon hunter Jaz Errington, contend with raising a teenager they never knew they had. When a pair of demon-summoning idols goes missing, Jaz needs Jo's help to recover them. If the demon lord succeeds in his plans to complete the set, Elk City is doomed.

Dean, Jaz, and Jo have to work together to solve this mystery and become a family before it's too late. Trust is key if they are to defeat the demon and find a way to send Jo back home, back to the future.

Audiobook six, Paramedic's Nemesis, brings us back to the series with undead in the streets of Elk City spelling impending doom and the end of days.

An artifact is creating hordes of mindless undead minions in Elk City. Paramedic Dean Flynn once again gathers his human and supernatural friends to band together and find the source. With the future of the city at risk, failure is not an option for Dean and his comrades.

Dean's friends have their own problems. His ex-partner is struggling with her recent change into a vampire. She has to find a way to overcome her bloodlust if she's ever going to return to the streets again as a paramedic. If she doesn't find a way to succeed, it could be a matter of life and death.

Jump into this continued three-audiobook set from the exciting Extreme Medical Services series now. Ride along with paramedic Dean Flynn, his demon-hunter girlfriend, and the rest of the Extreme Medical Services team in these three nonstop thrillers in one bundle.

I love the Series and this collection of books.

I hope there will be many more books in this series eventually. Elite Narrator with enjoyable characters, and some very fun urban fantasy EMS stories. I look forward to and welcome all future additions to this series.

A great bargain for a great story

Book 4 Paramedic's Hunter starts with Dean being the metaphorically BMC (big man on campus) and Barry being his new partner. Barry’s role in the story was the catalyst in the turbulent first meeting of Dean and Jaswinder Errington (Jaz).

Jaz comes from a demon fighting paramilitary family, which believes that humans are better than Unusuals. In the past, her family would exterminate Unusuals on sight. This conflicts with Dean who is a healer and treats human and Unusuals alike. Their conflict is exacerbated when it is revealed that to fulfil a prophecy and family honor Dean and Jaz must work together.

Dean’s girlfriend, Asley an Eldara Sister and an angelic healer has been missing. Her sister Ingrid, a warrior maiden, a Valkyrie, has been told that she cannot continue to look for her sister. To find Asley requires a mundane, an anti-magical and a magical. The mundane is Dean, the anti-magical is Jaz and the magical (witch), is Joann (Jo).

Nothing is as easy as it seems with a pacifist paramedic, a warrior (with an ax to grind against the male paramilitary world) and a teenage witch. Surprisingly, it is Jo who keeps the group on target. Dean and Jaz are constantly at each other.

The previous stories were about the medical care of the Unusuals, bigotry and exposure of the Unusuals to the humans within the city. This story deals with the exploitation of Unusuals by Unusuals with the objective being to enlighten humans about the Unusuals world.

When Jo and Jaz are suiting up with guns, ammo and explosives, Dean makes sure that his medical bag is full. Jo and Jaz are both kick-ass women. Jaz alone is a one-man army. Jo has some pretty impressive magical skills for a 15-year-old girl. A one point she harnessed the power of the sun to disintegrate a demon. She can disassemble and assemble a Glock then point and shoot demons.

Yea, Dean is pretty much useless in a fighting situation. At one point he was given an angelic sword, which humans should not be able to touch. Hummm what could that mean?

Book 5 The Paramedic's Witch,

It was exciting to see Jo, Jaz and Dean working together as a family. Two out of three idols with demon essence are missing and Jaz must locate them to avoid the evil fall out. Despite there only being two functioning, there is enough evil mischief and death abound. Our heros are committed to finding the idols but find themselves putting out the many demon incidents that are happening.

Jo must stay with Dean and Jaz longer than anticipated. Jo as a teen did have a little episode of disobeying her parents. There were disastrous consequences; people were killed. Her parents screamed at her and each other. Parents dialogue - You were supposed to be watching her. I did. I told her to stay home. Jo cries, feels guilty and do the runaway thing. This takes the story into the big climax.

Dean has become aware there is something different about him, but he does not know what it could be and refused to speculate. The healer and warrior (Dean and Jaz) are still butting heads on the kill first verses can we talk about it and see if we can cure them methods of dealing with Unusuals. At one point, Dean did acknowledge that kill first should be the first option.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) helps Dean out on a few rounds. That means Marian, the werewolf girl and Gabbi, the middle age vampire were in the story.

Jaz is still trying to get the family business up and functioning again while dealing with the loss of her family.
The evil is the run of the mill evil. Grrrrr I want to take over the world. I will make lots of minor demons to do by bidding yada yada.

This was an enjoyable story. The best one featuring the whole family.

Book 6 Paramedic's Nemesis

Sanctimonious. After listening to this box set that is the word that I have for Dean. He is sanctimonious about killing anyone and feels that his way is the right and only way. Granted the author Davis, has not written situations were Dean’s method of conflict resolution is blatantly impractical, i.e. a zombie outbreak with many zombies attacking people.

Dean cringes whenever Jaz or Jo carries weapons, but they are constantly in dangerous/ kidnaped situations. It like he forgets that people are trying to kill him. He did have 2 notable situations in this story. One, when he had to decide to hit a minion or compel him. Two, there were several zombies in a frenzy mode after innocents. Asley killed one and Dean was asked to try his laying his hands to help the other one.

It becomes undeniable that Dean is not all human. He can break the zombie and vampire feeding madness and compel them to do what he wants with a laying of the hands. He does not stress out how/why he got these powers.

This story is the battle (and not the last) with his nemesis Artur. Artur is the reason the Brynne (his mentor) was turned into a vampire. His machinations were set to ruin James Lee the master vampire in Elk City, also Brynne’s boyfriend. He orchestrated the kidnapping of Ashley Dean’s former Eldara Sister girlfriend. Finally, he eviscerated Jaz lineage.

Brynne is having her personal battle with trying to be useful and fighting her blood lust. ***spoiler*** I felt it was a tad cheating for Brynne to overcome her blood lust in a matter of months when it had taken others vamps years. I understand that is to move the story alone and get her back into the story. The author is asking a lot from us. In a normal situation a vampire might not be expose to as much blood as a paramedic. But a paramedic is exposed to copious amounts of blood and a newly turned vampire of a few months has that control. Nope, you can’t sell me that one.
