About this listen

Lupercalia burns, the might of the Traitor Legions reducing the last redoubt of the Sons of Horus to rubble. And through the ruins strides Apothecary Fabius of the Emperor's Children, with an army of vile genetic experiments. But what does the twisted Apothecary want in the temple to the fallen primarch Horus? And will he find it?

The best Grimdark.

This is Grimdark literature at it's finest and the voice performances are superb. Simply perfection.

Insightful

An insightful look into Fabius’ motivations post Heresy and before the events of “Talon of Horus”.

Good little Story

Although I want more story, I look forward to what Fabius Bile creates with the Warlords material.

Awkward

The quality is great, audibly it's the best short I've listened to. But it doesn't really use that time efficiently. Unlike a lot of others, this is probably best heard before sinking into his series. Repairer of Ruin's a pretty good primer but not much to write home about if you already know the man.

Probably my favorite villain

But the drama was so short!! Lucky there 2 whole books Primogenitor and Clonelord.
Isn’t there a 3rd going to be released soon? Related with psychic awakening? Can’t wait!!!

Fun story

Not the best way to spend a credit but it was a fun story nonetheless.

I can't evwn

how is this so well read and so good yet. so short. I would appreciate more recommendations on such performance.but with length. but I also know time is money and to pay such beautiful art costs. but it would do this series so much to have it available.

Unfinished

Feels like it was pulled out of the middle of another book - which is okay beginning-wise, but then it just cuts off.

22 minutes!!!!

They have got to be kidding. Yes, it has multiple can't members and a” background” filled with all sorts of noises. The background bleeds into the foreground at times making the performances very hard to hear. But my biggest issue it's 22 Minutes long! too short to be an audio book. Maybe anaudio pamphlet.

Worthless dribble

Over 200 audiobooks in my collection and I have never been so disappointed in one like this before. Its a bunch of dribbling non sense stretched into 20 minutes and sold for the same price as books that are 10-18+ hours long.
It feels like they took a few blurbs of wiki or red-it and tried to make a short story out of it. Just rubbish. Save your money and your time, avoid this!
