About this listen

False Witness engages listeners who enjoy suspense novels with a message. This work, Singer's sixth, has more subtle spiritual themes than previous works. With a riveting plot, this is an excellent legal thriller for both male and female listeners.

Capitalizing on our ever-growing concern with issues like identity theft, hackers, encrypted digital and electronic information, and personal security, False Witness could easily come from stories behind today's media headlines.

An early novel

I like Singer's novels, especially the themes that wrestle with complex moral dilemmas with authenticity and integrity. This is an earlier novel, and is a bit stilted. It's good but having already read later ones it is not as mature and engaging.

Great story

I really like the set-up of sub-stories. Good plot. Just when you think it's over, you're off to the next segment.

Randy Singer does it again

Randy Singer is becoming a new favorite of mine. The books is suspenseful and well written. The book does have a good bit of tech jargon and that may not appeal to everyone. Otherwise, this is a great book with good narration. Good job Randy Singer! I have already purchased two more of his books and look forward to listening to them both.

Earlier story not the best

Let me say that one of the few things I liked about this book was we get to revisit Wellington (from “The Judge”). We also get to see how Jamie got her start (I think it was “The Last Plea Bargain” where Jamie was the main character). But it was hard to follow some of the characters, especially the bad guys.
Spoiler alert: I don’t care if it happens in real life, but in fiction, no pet should be harmed!
I returned this book!!

Great storyline with many twists

I novel a well written narrative where the characters are believable and the story flows coherently. But I also love the unexpected. This book offers all this and more. Not to mention, the language is clean so you can enjoy without vulgar words or imagery.

pathetically unrealistic

Any additional comments?

I know that this type of book will have a story line that is unlike everyday life. However, This story is so unrealistic that it is pathetic. I have enjoyed some of Randy Singer's other books but this one is a real dud in my opinion.
