About this listen

After fighting a demon, surviving a life-or-death trial, and taking care of a psycho out to crown himself emperor, Eli was really hoping for a peaceful trip on a skyship to Galdish with his friends and allies. Unfortunately, powerful forces are converging around him, making his journey far more perilous as the supposed "gods" continue to meddle with the world of Lurra.

Fate's Tempest is the third book in an ongoing series focused on the sequestered world of Lurra. Prepare yourself for some epic world-building in a LitRPG (GameLit) reality with magical powers, fantasy, power progression, systems, a ton of mystery, and lots more adventure!

The series has gotten quite a bit better over the last few books. It’s nice to see the main character winning his fights because he deserves to win it rather than through sheer luck.

Big improvement over the last book

I got introduced to this series by the authors free code campaign on Reddit where I was gifted the first two books. I am happy to say I fully support the author and their continued writing of this series. As with my other reviews of this series, the world is fantastic. The characters and their personalities and attitudes remind me of people I have to live and work with everyday and I find the MC to reflect how I feel about how we should treat our neighbors and community.

Feels like a unique LitRPG
