Feel Good Audio Book
A couple of months ago I decided to make some changes in my life and I was thinking of how much I wasted in my life.
I decided to download some useful productivity videos to watch on the plane on my vacation and I came across Dr. Ali's YT channel, the videos were really inspiring.
I downloaded Audible and started listening to some of the recommended books he talked about.
Finally decided to go for Feel Good Productivity which just finished listening to today, the book is very organized, straight to the point, encouraging and easy to implement.
Dr. Ali quoted what he found useful as well from other books that I was privileged to listen to as what Dr. Ali recommended in his videos like and not limited to "Getting Things Done", "Atomic Habits" & "Hell Yeah or No"
Remarkable book and will go through it many times.
PS. I started listening to Interstellar, Breaking Bad & Sherlock Holmes sound tracks while working 🙂
Looking forward for the next masterpiece.

“It’s alright to be a guide and not a guru”
The book is concise and provides pivotable, and actionable steps to make improvements in your work and life. The book is not profound in its content, but it delivers its profundity in its simplicity. The narration by the author and his what I expect to be at times a slightly off-script delivery, added a conversational aspect that I appreciated. Good book, there’s something in here for everyone!

It’s an amalgamation of all the productivity books before this. It’s amazing how Ali and the team were able to condense all that information into a beautifully-made book.

Eager to take action.
It is great seeing a book manifest from a human who has got me through many blocks. I read the text while listening to the book which is the first time I’ve done that and can I say I have retained a lot more than usual. Lots of great stuff that I am going to experiment with and love how well Ali explained the advice, and always adds a great case study and research to back it all up. I will be rereading this again.

I've read and now listened to this book
Hearing Ali read the book is similar to watching him on YouTube, which I also enjoy. The breakdown of the productivity philosophy and matching experiments is useful and enlightening. I enjoyed listening to a chapter and trying an experiment that day really helped me.

Awesome book
He kept the best advice/content at the end. It started slow but grew fast on me. Fully recommend hearing it and doing the things proposed in the last part of the last chapter (Align)

My Favorite Listen This Year; a Game-Changer Book
After listening to the audio version, I was so intrigued that I ordered both Kindle and physical copies of the book. I'm planning a more in-depth review, but for now, here are my initial thoughts:
The book uniquely blends scientific insights with practical advice on productivity, diverging from typical productivity books. It doesn't just focus on doing more or increasing efficiency; it's about feeling good, generating energy, and boosting productivity in a meaningful way. True to its subtitle, "How to Do More of What Matters to You," it offers strategies for prioritizing, tactics for saying no, and more.
What's particularly engaging is how Ali, the author, has transferred his ideas from his videos into a more condensed and nuanced format in the book. He explains the theories behind his concepts, supplementing them with examples from his life and others. Hearing it narrated in his own voice rather than someone else's added a personal touch that I really appreciated.
Additionally, the book comes with a helpful PDF containing all the visuals, some extra material, and a surprise gift at the end. It's a comprehensive package that enhances the overall reading (and listening) experience.
I'm extremely happy and a bit proud to be the first person to write a review on Audible for this book. It's a testament to how much I've enjoyed and appreciated the content. A heartfelt thank you to Ali and the incredible team behind this amazing book!

So much more than a book on productivity!
This book not only provides a creative approach to efficiency and effectiveness, it also serves as a guide to evaluating your life, your work and your systems. I recently attended Ali's Annual Planning workshop and man... he is a master teacher. So glad he transitioned from being a doctor to inspiring his audience with wisdom and authenticity. Well done!
