About this listen

Who could you trust if society fell?

Winter is in full force. Freezing temperatures and heavy snow present new threats. But there's more to surviving than just weathering the elements.

Out alone, James spots a man he recognizes from the compound. Does it mean they're being hunted down? Or is it mere coincidence?

Max knows his group is a target. There are people who want them dead merely for revenge. Others want their radios, their guns, and their supplies. He thought they were hidden, but he should have known better.

John and Cynthia were hoping Max's group would give them the security they've been craving. Now, with certain danger approaching, are they ready to make a final stand with their new group?

Fighting Rough is audiobook five of the EMP, a post-apocalyptic-survival thriller series. It deals with real people fighting for their survival every inch of the way.

It's non stop action in this book. Our luckless wanderers really can't catch a break. Scenes of torture are depicted in this book. If you liked previous books you'll appreciate this one.

I do love the premise of the book but it's starting to get... stale. I hope the excitement jumps up a level or two in the next book.

This was by far one of the most brutal books of the series yet! I absolutely loved it!

This is a nice series but lacks any real depth. He has a nice backdrop for a survival tail with realistic characters and good flow however there are some gaping holes in the story. What bothers me the most is the premise of the “compound”. How in the world is there a community of dozens of men and not one was married or brought any women along? Also John, he was awesome without max, now he comes across like a complaining 2faced looser with max.

Good not great

Books are too short. On 6th book , because of the shortness not a good value. Great story

Great story ,too short

I have a feeling this entire series could have been done in 3-4 books and it would have been more entertaining. The long drawn out storylines leave me feeling apathetic towards the protagonists.
