Loved it! ♡♡♡

Loved the book, sometimes it takes me a long time to get into an audio book, but I was hooked instantly. I have read other books by this author, but I felt an instant connection with Audrey and her family. also felt it gave a good insight to her medical condition without it being to scary, and Audrey is a very likeable and relatable character.

YA story

I was excited to read the new Sophie Kinsella book. I should have read first the reviews and the presentation. It is a teen story with a teenager problem. Serious problem, but still addressed to teenagers. It's funny here and there, but I find it more suited for my 12 years old niece. I found myself wanting to hurry the audio to finish it. I would have liked to see the other characters developed more.

Didn’t realize it was a YA book. Still liked it!

It took a few starts & stops before I got into this book. I have listened to other Sophie Kinsella books & didn’t realize this was geared to the young adult market. It was very funny and couldn’t stop listening. Reminded me of what it was like to be a teenager.

Serious yet sweet

I really enjoyed this story. It was sensitively told about a teenager with emotional and mental health problems. It's also a sweet love story and a tempestuous family drama.
Well told by Sophie Kinsella. The narration was great.
The story jumped in time a little bit but I didn't find it difficult to follow in the least.

Light listen with heart

Sophie Kinsella delivers her signature clear, obviously British writing style featuring women with issues and humor. This time it's a teenager with anxiety and she's working through it. And yet, it manages to be light and fairly realistic. The narrator really brought this book to life with the different character voices.

It was okay

It was okay, but that was about it. I found the conflict between Audrey's mom and Brother better represented than Audrey's own struggles with anxiety - which was why I picked up this book.
