Publisher's summary

When Everleigh Beckett sets out to solve a Christmas mystery, she doesn’t give up, especially with P.I. Isaac Stern at her side.

The previous Christmas, Everleigh and Isaac solved the case of Rachel Walters, the two-day old infant abducted from Heritage Hospital. This Christmas, the duo has a more puzzling case to tackle.

Luciana Esperanza went missing when she was 19. The child of undocumented workers, her parents feared filing a missing persons report, until her sister comes forward, believing she’s spotted Luciana near the Capitol.

Can Everleigh and Isaac solve a case that is more than 22 years old? What happened to Luciana Esperanza, and can they bring another lost soul home for the holidays?

Hamilton and Hazen deliver again

I enjoyed this story. It was like a breath of fresh air. I liked the characters. Kelly Hazen brought the characters to life. I hated for the story to end. I highly recommend listening to this book! I was provided a copy of this audiobook and this is my honest review.

The apparent kidnapping

I really like how well the story was written. Hoping for a lil romance between cop and PI. It was bittersweet that the family didn't give up hope.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it extremely enjoyable. When a call to 911 reports the sighting of a woman that's been missing for 22 years the Missing Persons Division is notified. At the same time P.I. Isaac Stern is also hired by the missing woman's sister. Detective Everleigh Beckett teams up with Isaac to solve this mystery if for no other reason than give the family closure. A great story with mystery and humour. I listened to it in one sitting. This combination of author and narrator never fails to draw you into their world.

Great Read

Finding Freedom (A Christmas Mystery #2) was a great read by M.L. Hamilton. Everleigh Beckett sets out to solve a Christmas mystery. Last Christmas she solved the case of Rachel Walters with the help of P.I. Isaac Stern. Now they investigate the disappearance of Luciana Esperanza. She went missing at nineteen years old and is the child of undocumented workers. They feared filling a missing persons report, until her sister comes forward believing that she spotted her near the Capitol. I enjoyed reading this book and loved the life that Kelley Hazel brought to the characters.

Another Christmas Miracle

This is an interesting cold case investigation. Everleigh Beckett a detective with Missing person division along with the help of Isaac (retired cop) and now a private eye. Luciana Esperanza who has been missing 22yrs her sister Marianna seeks help after seeing her at tree lighting ceremony. Both are great characters and at times humorous when together as was Rudy and Rose Ann and was a heartwarming story with great narration. Only complaint too short and cannot wait for next one Trading Time. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

Taking on a cold case

M.L. Hamilton delivers yet another captivating masterpiece with “Finding Freedom.” Hamilton’s storytelling prowess is unmatched, weaving intricate plots with rich, relatable characters.

It's the holidays and it's been 22 years since Luciana Esperanza went missing. Nobody could imagine her just walking away from her family and toddler son, but her sister just can't give up on the feeling that she spotted her at a tree lighting ceremony. Everleigh Beckett pairs up with P.I. Isaac Stern, along with other members of the police department, to get to the bottom of things.

Kelley Hazen masterfully captures the essence of each character, using her vocal talent to bring the story to life. Her nuanced performance adds depth to the narrative, making it an engaging and immersive listening experience. Hazen’s ability to convey emotion and maintain distinct voices for the characters is truly remarkable. This audiobook is a must-listen
