About this listen

How do you find something you didn’t know you’d lost? Olivia King has had it. She’s out of shape and tired of being alone. When she takes a tour of a fitness center, she had no idea how much she would gain while trying to lose.

Frankie Dean and her two best friends own Your Way, a place where fitness means more than improving your body. Can Frankie lead Olivia through this journey to repair her self-image and discover her self-worth? And will Olivia give Frankie something she didn’t know she’d lost.

This is the first novel in the Your Way series. Each are stand-alone but, you may see familiar faces and old friends.

inspiration comes from different places

it was very sweet story, with a spin on body possitive attitude. I like that the author put bit of both sides here. yes body looks isn't everything, because your attitude and character is more important. however there is way to balance it all. the interaction between all characters and discovery of self worth and love...good read

Didn’t hit the mark for me. A disappointment.

I agree with another reviewer in that Frankie is a bore. I was pulling for the Olivia/Jenna pairing; so much more chemistry!
This book kept making me think I was listening to a YA book...except for the sex scenes which were ironically well written and passionate! It is overly simplistic and unrealistic. I didn’t find it extremely well written. There are some interesting characters and I hope the series will focus more on them. They are much more interesting than the two main characters here.
Overall, very dull and boring. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I found myself wanting to quit this book several times!
I’m interested in seeing reviews of the next in series to see if it get better.
Narrator was ok.

Learning to love yourself opens the world & your ❤

Frankie is owner with Stella and Desi of Your Way gym. Olivia has been in a funk since breaking up with her girlfriend. She want to at least take some weight off but finds a new way to care for herself. She and Frankie find a connection that will talk both of them growing to find where home is for them. This book begins the Your Way series and introduced me to a group of women I love. Morgan A. Southward gave life to these amazing women making me love them more. Jamey Moody has written the most delightful group of characters that make you wish they were in your world. The best gift is the inspiration to love yourself enough to heart your own heart song.

Very Romantic and Fun!

I really enjoyed the story, which was made better by the great supporting cast of Characters. I could predict some parts, but I wanted that for this story because I fell hard for Frankie and Olivia! The narrator had a nice voice and made this experience come to life! Besides the romance, the love, support, and friendship between the women was definitely a selling point. I love the easy going straight forward dialogue in Jamey Moody's writing. I thrive off the happy endings because lesbian stories rarely get happy ending opportunities in cinema!! Jamey, thank you for showing us their attraction early on, it gave your readers a chance to ride out this entire story watching the relationship develop. Nice Work!

Home really is where the heart is 💜

Olivia and Frankie and their friends feel like people you want to know. I could relate to the way Olivia was feeling when she joined the gym. The way Frankie deals with her class was spot on it’s how I dealt with my clients as a personal trainer. After some miss communication and time apart they know how much they are meant to be together. The narrator Morgan A Southard did a great job. She gave them the voices I imagined them having in my mind. I love this series.

frankie

Olivia I think should have been paired with a stronger more fun person. Frankie is protrade as a twitt, boring, and depressing.
I liked Olivia with Jenna better.

just ok

The storyline was OK. The main character attraction seemed to happen really fast but then the plot line was pretty long and drawn out without much excitement. I did not enjoy the narration. The narrators voice is fine in general but the performance was flat. The static noise chapter transitions toward the end were weird.

Slow Burn At Its Best

I love how first attraction develops into a sweet romance, even with life's obstructions and distractions. The cast of characters surrounding the Your Way fitness center community are down to earth and very relatable. Jamey writes in ways that feel real and heartfelt including emotional roller coasters at times. Great narration especially with all the different Texan voices and emotional expressions. Love how the Audible version really brings the book to life!
