Publisher's summary

From the moment she jumped on his back during a training exercise, Kenna had Marshall “Aleck” Smart’s attention. He wants to know more about the gorgeous, bubbly waitress who tried to “save” him. A lot more. In fact, he wants to know everything. A little hypocritical, since he plays his own cards close to the vest. Experience has shown once women learn about his trust fund, it’s often game over...even as instinct tells him Kenna may be the exception.

Kenna Madigan is mortified she almost landed on the hot Navy SEAL’s head when jumping into the ocean to “rescue” him. In her defense, she’d thought he was drowning. Luckily, he wasn’t mad. Exactly the opposite - he promptly asked her out on a date. Their connection is intense from the start, and Kenna suspects he’s too good to be true. As it turns out, she’s right. Marshall has a big secret, and the discovery causes her some humiliation...partly because of her own judgmental assumptions.

They no sooner weather that bump in their relationship when they find themselves facing an even bigger challenge - an unforeseen life-threatening situation. Turns out, Kenna may get a chance to rescue her SEAL, after all....

Finding Kenna is the third book in the SEAL Team Hawaii Series. Each book is a stand-alone with no cliff-hanger endings.

Love this series!

No one writes military romance like Susan Stoker. If you want a book which absorbs you and keeps you fully engaged, read a book by this author! After reading the first in this series I thought no way the next books can be just as good. Well they were and I can’t wait until the next book in the series is out. I highly recommend!

Trusting security

Story was as expected. Danger to heroine somewhat unexpected from previous stories. Opened up a new type of concern from unexpected type of danger.

🌭Sexy waitress meets Rambo🗡

🔹Overall, this was a fun book and I enjoyed it, but I don’t feel this was the best book of the series simply because there was not enough action. The other books contain more intense stories, moments and epic saves, this one did not have that punch... but it was still good.

🔹I really enjoyed how the author wrote the male character - but I did not care for the author giving Kenna a "waitress" career. It seems ridiculous and beneath her, especially at her age and with her background and schooling. I highly doubt Kenna would just be "ok" skimming by when she was a CPA. She didn't seem to have any " drive" - but yet she was dating a MILLIONAIRE SEAL? LOL - sorry I couldn't buy that! SEAL's have the highest DRIVE on the planet- how could the author match these two individuals up? It didn't flow! Yea, in another world - I quite my career, move to Cuba while teachin SALSA dancin on the beach! LOL

🔹The only portion of the book I thought was really ODD and written off color was a scene where they were having sex and he went so hard that it hurt her. YIKES. I though makin love was suppose to be fun and enjoyable - NOT PAINFUL! What was the author thinking? This really turned me off! UHHH!

🔹All of Susan's books make you fall in love with the characters. You need to LISTEN to this one in order to understand ALL of the other ones ...they come together full circle as the SEALS are a family and intertwined. Overall I'm a Susan Stoker fan! - Namaste!

Time for personal growth. ♥️

From the way Kenna and Marshall had their first encounter you just know there will be challenges. Kenna had ideas and opinions on how people with financial success acted and felt. What I loved most about this story was that after Kenna spent time with Marshall and his the people in his life she realized she did prejudge. She was able to grow with this realization. I also loved her strength when getting involved with bad situations.
This author strength is how she shows the flaws of her characters but allows them to grow and improve. I loved this story and the narrators did a fantastic job bringing out the personalities of the characters.
I love the attention to detail about the area as well. This just brings the reader into the story. I look forward to the next story!

Fair to middling- poor narration choice

I liked the story lines better in Finding Elodie & Finding Lexie which is why I gave it only 3 stars for story, but 4 for overall because I’m enjoying the series. HOWEVER, they NEVER, EVER, EVER should have used a narrator (who is very capable) as the male lead WHO’D ALSO BEEN THE VILLAIN IN THE FIRST BOOK (Finding Elodie). Once my ears/brain made the connection, I couldn’t unhear it & I couldn’t take him as seriously as a romantic lead. Maybe it was just me, but it kinda ruined the listen. I’m hoping the same mistake won’t be made with Finding Melissa.

Love This Series

As always Susan Stoker doesn’t disappoint! I loved Alec from the first book and yes Kenna was just perfect for him . I loved that she didn’t need a man and she spoke up about abuse and injustice. The emotions and feelings where felt throughout the book and it was heart stopping when Alec felt so helpless. The narrators were good and believable .

Finding Kenna

Kenna met Marshall, aka Aleck, when she thought he was drowning. She was embarrassed when she found out that he was tracking his buddies underwater. So they started their courtship when he and his pals went to see her at the place she worked as a waitress. They both had learning curves when finding things out about each other. There was a touch of drama when her best friend was stalked by her abusive ex. And of course in S. Stoker fashion the last 10% of the book was full of suspense. Listening to the audio book was easy and entertaining.

Can’t wait for the next audiobook!

Loving this series and can’t wait for the next book. Even bought another in a different series by this author. Has some suspense at end, it’s a fun and easy story to follow but kept me interested. Great narration by Emma Wilder and Arron Shedlock

Lots to love in this one!

This one is my favorite so far! That Meet-Cute is so funny and yet adorable! I LOVED getting to know more about Kenna. She is quite to girl! Defender, saver, hard worker and great personality! Marshall is one who I thought would be cracking jokes or being goofy but he actually seemed quite serious. His devotion and protection of Kenna is every girls dream.

I loved all the men and their advice but my favorite is is Elodi and Lexi at the bar scene! I so enjoyed that and their mens reactions. Then all the times the women come together. They all want to kick behinds and take names. This is a fun bunch

I did listen to this on audio. Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock are the narrators. They both do an excellent job bringing these characters to life. I look forward to the next one
