Enjoyable

I love it when an author can make a series be able to have each story stand on it’s own own and yet make each story so enjoyable that you are eager to go to the next. I read the story out of sequence accidentally but in the end it did not matter. A bit of mystery, a bit of fun. The banter between the main characters was entertaining. The way they got in and out of scrapes kept me listening. In the end She was a strong woman who had to learn that independence does not have to mean loneliness.

Exciting!

Kate Noble stories are always a pleasure to read but this.on is my favorite so far. It has witty conversations, (I love the wry humor), mystery, mischief, romance, lovely scenery and a cast of characters to almost rival Around the World in 80 Days.

Thoroughly enjoyable...loved, loved, loved this story!

It’s rare to find perfectly unpredictable love stories, but this is definitely one. Kate Noble’s characters are so unique and the situation is so different to what is normal. I love the lushness with which the story is drawn, where their entire world is painted with a bold brush lined by delicate strokes. This is one of my favorite stories yet in this storyline. Kate Noble is a master storyteller, an ingenious romance writer. Also, time well-spent with the remarkable, talented narrator, Allison Larkin, whose pitch perfect performance will keep you entertained for hours. Highly recommend! Great listen...

Nice story, excellent narrator

I enjoyed this - a light romance with likeable people and an interesting story. Alison Larkin provided the right, slightly ironic, tone to the narration and had a wide range of voices that matched the story’s characters. I’ve already downloaded the next in the series.

Enjoyed it!

Jason’s character annoyed me in the previous book but I fell in love with him here. He was kind, caring, funny and charming in this story. You could see the development he must have gone through. Winn was a bit irritatingly blind and self absorbed at times but I liked her because Jason liked her. The ending is lovely.

The best so far…

Follow My Lead is the best of the series I’ve listened to so far, and I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st two. There is something so driven, so compelling about Winifred as a heroine and as a role model that I was along for her ride upon meeting her. This book is the one, among the 3 so far, that convinces me there’s a movie (or 3 or 5) or limited Netflix series in here. Now to whom among the very few people in the industry I know to send these books?

Cute story

I enjoyed this story. It had a few slow scenes that I easily sped up, but otherwise it was an engaging plot with likable characters. The narrator is an excellent story teller. Her inflections, pacing, humor, and dialog spark were spot on. Just a note to the author: Horses don't lap water. They suck water up into their mouths between their lips. Cats and dogs lap water. SPOILER: I was a little surprised by the cussing. Also wasn't expecting an intimate scene, because up until the last quarter, it came across as a clean romance.
