About this listen

A sweeping, Pakistani romantic fantasy reimagining of The Count of Monte Cristo, where one girl seeks revenge against those who betrayed her—including the boy she used to love.

Three hundred and sixty-four days.

Framed for a crime she didn't commit, Dania counts down her days in prison until she can exact revenge on Mazin, the boy responsible for her downfall, the boy she once loved—and still can't forget. When she discovers a fellow prisoner may have the key to exacting that vengeance—a stolen djinn treasure—they execute a daring escape together and search for the hidden treasure.

Armed with dark magic and a new identity, Dania enacts a plan to bring down those who betrayed her and her family, even though Mazin stands in her way. But seeking revenge becomes a complicated game of cat and mouse, especially when an undeniable fire still burns between them, and the power to destroy her enemies has a price. As Dania falls deeper into her web of traps and lies, she risks losing her humanity to her fight for vengeance—and her heart to the only boy she's ever loved.

Nearly Perfect

Ended too quickly! If the last 5 chapters had been stretched into a second book, this story would have been perfect❤️

For she is stupid

This is such a pretentious book. FL constantly makes impulsive decisions. Anyone who has read a good revenge book, knows that revenge will come without needing it to be the center of attention all the time.
I get that FL wants revenge, what happened to her was bad and she is a victim of circumstances. But by God would she please just stop being stupid for one minute. Her constant whining is what got to me. Narrator did the best she could with this immature story but there's only so much to do with so many monotonous brain dead characters. Where is the depth? layers and layers of emotions that comes with seeking revenge? Character growth? she didn't learn a single thing in one year in prison? Her inner thoughts are constantly - "i want revenge" "my blood boils" "tight knot in my stomach" "stomach drop". Who wrote this ? Google, is that you? Because there's literally no new words or sentences to be said even though a trauma like that would inflict multifaceted emotional wounds that would show themselves in various forms and faces.
This book wants to be badass but unfortunately it's a complete cliched bs. Which webtoon author read to be inspired to write straightforward and uneventful story?
Let's make the FL stabby with no intelligence and sell it as a "badass FL" is a theme nowadays

You want a good revenge story? Read Throne of Glass, Reign and Ruin, Bear and the Nightingale series, Serpents and wings of night, Heartless Hunter, The invisible life Addie LaRue... Literally anything but avoid this disaster
