About this listen

Grace and Hope are identical twin sisters born with the ability to time-cross together between 1692 Salem, Massachusetts, and 1912 New York City. As their twenty-fifth birthday approaches, they will have to choose one life to keep and one to leave behind forever—no matter the cost.

In 1692, they live and work in their father's tavern, where they must watch helplessly as the witch trials unfold in their village, threatening everyone. With the help of a handsome childhood friend, they search for the truth behind their mother's mysterious death, risking everything to expose a secret that could save their lives—or be their undoing.

In 1912, Hope dreams of becoming one of the first female pilots in America, and Grace works as an investigative journalist, uncovering corruption and injustice. After their parents' orphanage is threatened by an adversary, they enter a contest to complete a perilous cross-country flight under the guidance of a daring French aviator.

The sisters have already decided which timeline they will choose, but an unthinkable tragedy complicates the future they planned for themselves. As their birthday looms, how will they determine the lives—and loves—that are best for both of them?

Engaging!

I have enjoyed the Timeless Series with this being the third book. The author does a good job researching the time periods and sharing with her readers many unknown facts. Early aviation in the early 1910’s and how dangerous it was and the Salem Witch Trials in the late 1600’s.

I thought the narrator did an excellent job with the different accents and dialects. Very talented!

love this series...well written and researched

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the history they lived.

My only complaint about the series is the reader!
she lowers her voice and mumbles, when she switches to a male voice.
I have hearing aids, but still have to adjust volume so frequently, it's annoying.
Some sounds do not come through at all during the voice muffling and lowering.
I noticed this in the other books. It is only now I finally say something about it.
Readers know the same woman is speaking all voices, but we need to hear the content clearly spoken.

By all means, do read the book, it is as good as the first two. I am hoping for another story..

Stick with this amazing story

I have read the first two in the series and this was the third. I found that I felt bogged down and it was moving to slow for me in the beginning. and I found the narrator to be moving too slow so I sped up her voice to one point 15 times speed and started to enjoy it much more. It did move a little slow in the beginning but it turns out to be an amazing story and I would encourage all to stick with it.

So good!

I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series. The way the storylines are interwoven draws the reader in and kept me listening. I’ve been sad each time one of these books has ended and would love for the series to continue. As always, Rachel Botchan did a fantastic job narrating

the characters are so real you can envision them, great plot that keeps you enticed to keep reading.

loved it, I love historical fiction and this was done well. the plot takes you back in forth in two eras, weaving in facts in only the way the author can do.

AUTHOR CONTINUES TO AWE!

Following the storyline of this family has been nothing short of awe inspiring. The author is a master of intertwining their lives and relating them to history, past, present, future, in a way that can not be matched! This is a singularly stand alone series that I’m going to recommend for all time! I appreciate the time the author takes in making the characters predicaments and choices very relatable…. In turn, encouraging the reader to seek God in all things, while navigating free will. Such a fantastic book and series!
