Sara is walking home from work one night. She hears police sirens and takes a different route than normal to avoid any trouble. On her detour, she inadvertently witnesses a man being shot by a group of men in suits. But they see her....
The men grab Sara and discuss how they can dispose of her. She tries to convince them that she'll keep quiet, but they don't believe her. "Promises mean nothing," another one says sharply. "Dead witnesses can't talk."
The men mutter among themselves for a few seconds, and Sara tries to escape, but to no avail. She slammed powerfully into the wall of a person standing right behind her.
Just as the other guys recognize that she's restrained once again, the man pulls her to one side and away from everyone else. He then bundles her into a car and they speed off.
Is Sara being rescued or dragged into deeper danger?
Warning: This story has hot and steamy content and is not suitable for all ages. 18+.

What did you like best about Forbidden Lust? What did you like least?
The storyline sounded really good, I enjoyed the story for the most part, but with just a little work it could have been great.I wasn't a big fan of the narration. She seemed too overly dramatic at times.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
It felt a bit rushed. How could the performance have been better?
I think the narrator needed to just calm down or speak in a bit more of a normal voice.I have noticed reviews that really liked the narration, so this may just be a personal preference of mine.
Did Forbidden Lust inspire you to do anything?

well done narration.

This was a quick listen, which I enjoy, however, things also happened pretty fast in the book. If it were longer, of course there would be much more depth to both the characters and the story.. but overall, it was an enjoyable read, with some pretty steamy parts to through in as well.
Good short listen -with some pretty steamy parts

I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.Simone Carter usually ties a nice tidy package with her short stories but, IMO, this one was chaotic. The characters were weren't believable. Leave it at that. And halfway through skin tone was mentioned as being opposite? Did I miss it being interracial? The plot is worthy of a Brockmann or Evanovich novel, but without sufficient word count, circumstances can't develop. Potential game-changing elements are thrown in, usually just a single sentence, and they're never mentioned again. Too much in too little.
Narration was acceptable, but even it seemed sub-par.... maybe because of the writing...
Sorry. I can only say "You'll do better next time, Simone."
TOO MANY PIECES THAT AREN'T NECESSARY OR RELEVANT
