described my story

This book to a great extent mirrored my wife's and my story. So I loved the story and the characters. I love Baldwin's style of writing. Will be purchasing more of her books.

Great story, but...

This was a really great listen but the author made the characters sound like they were teenagers instead of fully grown women.

Are you sure this is Kim Baldwin?

Doesn't read / feel like the Kim Baldwin books I've read in the past. It's a decent story; just not what I expected. No real adventure, just a few critical moments to take the romance to the next level. .

Loved the story....

Loved the story especially because it is a story of more mature women. But the narrator was not the right one for this story, her voice is too young.

A bit obsessed

It started out good and I was looking forward to seeing a story about all the things in the life of a firefighter with a nice romantic twist. But what I feel I listened to was more about obsession. Gable was a bit obsessed with Erin. There were only a couple of other storylines about actual fires.

As far as the narrator, I thought the voices were backwards. Gable I thought would have the deeper voice. And Erin the higher pitched voice. Especially given their height difference.

Overall, it wasn't bad.
