About this listen

One way or another, I’m going to make her my new bride.

Georgia is a teacher, fluent in Mixian. She is patient and loves kids. But she is a little gullible to her own detriment.

Prince Kylin is the crown prince of Mixis. He is intelligent, loyal, and unfortunately for him, the worst sort of hopeless romantic.

Georgia is conned into thinking she is going to interview for a position to teach English to the Mixian children, when in actuality, she is interviewing for an arranged marriage to Prince Kylin. Sadly, neither has any idea until after signing on the dotted line.

By the time Prince Kylin finds out what happened, it’s already too late. He’s already been made to look like he orchestrated her forced marriage to him. He swears to avenge her honor - and to prove that he is worthy of her love.

To make matters worse, tensions between Mixis and Earth rise. And the person responsible for it all is kidnapped by the troublesome neighbors, the Dolarians.

Will Georgia be able to defuse the situation peacefully? What will happen concerning her marriage to Prince Kylin?

Forced to Marry the Alien Prince is part of the In the Stars romance line. This is a full length, sci-fi alien romance with no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happy ending!

Terrible Narrator

Stopped listening at 3:18:29 this narrator is terrible, she is really terrible. The story is not all that great and I have read several books by this author, and I love them. This story doesn't make sense in so many ways but all of that could be overlooked if it was not for the terrible narrator.

Logic much?

I got about half way through before I had to stop listening. It's almost like this was written by a teenager. There are grammar errors and words that are not really used properly in the text, almost like the author doesn't have a grasp on what certain words mean. Also, logic much? Why would a prince of a planet want to marry a random human for no good reason? Why is he so alone, he has a whole planet after all. How could a random prankster get access to a prince in the first place? She mentions going to the "airport" but isn't this supposed to be a different planet? How can you be irrevocably married just by signing a few pieces of paper? Wouldn't you read a paper you were asked to sign? Why is the prince so dumb? Why is the girl so dumb? Just why?

I just couldn't get past the lack of logic in pretty much all areas of the story.
