Publisher's summary
The time had come, she decided, to rid herself of this burden, to take the steps necessary to put the matter to rest once and for all. And the first step, she knew - against every instinct and desire - was to watch that film.
During the reading of her mother's will, Sheila Baker discovers that she has inherited everything her parents ever possessed, including their secrets. A mysterious safe-deposit box key leads her to the answers to one of history's greatest conspiracies: Who killed John F. Kennedy? Not only does she have the missing film, revealing her mother as the infamous babushka lady, but she has proof that there was more than one shooter.
On the run from people who would stop at nothing to keep secrets buried, Sheila turns to billionaire sleuth Jason Hammond for help. Having lost his own family in a tragic plane crash, Jason knows a thing or two about running from the past.
With a target on their backs and time running out, can Jason finally uncover the truth behind the crime that shook a generation - or will he and Sheila become its final victims?

Story
A murderer is on the loose on the streets of New York City: nicknamed the Doomsday Killer, he's claimed six victims in just two weeks, and the city is terrified. Even worse, the police are mystified: the victims have nothing in common, defying all profiling, and all that connects them is that each received a sick postcard in the mail before they died - a postcard that announced their date of death. In desperation, the FBI assigns the case to maverick agent Will Piper, once the most accomplished serial-killing expert in the bureau's history, now on a dissolute spiral to retirement.

Listener beware ( but not a bad story in context )
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I am growing weary of evangelical Christian authors promoting their religious perspectives and attempts to "convert" the listener, and this book has that in spades. The author also carries on about quick serve restaurant food, exercise, big government, and all manner of conservative hot topics.
That said, it's an interesting concept, and I did hang in there notwithstanding the incessant drum beat of conversion beating away. Buyer beware.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Predictable, with a small bit of twist I suppose.
What aspect of Tracy Thibodeaux’s performance would you have changed?
Seemed abit preachy, but on balance workable.
Could you see Frame 232 being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Not in my lifetime, I hope.
Any additional comments?
This is my bad. I didn't research the author's Christian/Conservative perspective, and as such the book is rife with all this. I suppose if that is where you are coming from, it works, but I tire of this sort of agenda promotion.
The mash up of JFK assassination conspiracy theories and Christian/Conservative theology mixed together is interesting I suppose.
Not my cup of tea however.
