Publisher's summary

She wants more than just his forgiveness....

Trixie’s not ashamed of the exposé she wrote for the college newspaper last year. She’s a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to do whatever it takes to get the story, even if it meant lying to a friend to get the inside scoop.

Still, every time she sees Wes, she regrets the loss of someone she really enjoyed spending time with. Not one for labels or someone who puts limitations on attraction, Trixie can’t deny the pull she feels toward Wes when they cross paths again.

He's willing to do whatever it takes to change her perception of him....

Wes has always been the odd man out. Different than his brothers, he was always more comfortable playing video games or enjoying solitary moments in the pool.

Although he never expected someone as sexy as Trixie to fall for an inexperienced guy like him, he also never expected her betrayal. Now that he has a second chance, can he get her to see him as more than the nice guy she duped?

A year has passed, but anger and regret still linger. Can Wes and Trixie agree to put the past behind them and move forward, or will late-night confessions prove to be more than they can forgive and forget?

Second Chance College Romance

Frat House Confessions: Wes by Bethany Lopez is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Dryw McArthur and Penelope Rose.

This is the second book in the Frat House Confessions and I would highly recommend reading them in order since the stories are interconnected.

This is the second book of of Bethany's that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between West and Trixie. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the story. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Frat House Confessions: Brody to be released on audio so I can get Emma and Brody's story.

Dryw and Penelope did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like college romances, second chance romances, or contemporary romance.

Another great listen.

I love listening/reading Bethany Lopez books. What I like about the audio books is I can listen while working out and then go to the book when I want and not lose my place. Narration was great and the story is wonderful.

Wes!

Bethany Lopez continues defining the challenges that becoming a new adult may have. With Trixie and Wes’s story, forgiveness and acceptance are important characteristics that both use to find their footing while pursuing a relationship. They encounter a few bumps in the road but are able to openly talk about things for an amicable resolution. Penelope Rose and Dryw McArthur were great narrators and made this an enjoyable listening experience!!

Dragged

The first book was great but this one dragged even the narrators didn’t help in picking it up to overlook it. I just couldn’t finish it. I’m disappointed. Maybe I will try again another day but for now this is my review and rating. I dislike leaving a 3 stars rating.

Good college romance

Dryw McArther and Penelope Rose do a great job narrating this college romance from Bethany Lopez.

Trixie and Wes have a complicated relationship after Trixie took Wes' fraternity down in a shocking expose for the school paper last year, But at their heart, both Trixie and Wes really cared for each other, and this is the story of how they found their way back together, how they dealt with the impact, and how they both help the other deal with the demons coming out of that experience. Wes has to learn to trust Trixie again as well as go after what his heart wants, despite other peoples' perception. And Trixie has to look at what kind of journalist she really wants to be.

An entertaining, well-narrated listen.

Excellent

It's been awhile since I've read/listened to a book by Bethany Lopez. I've been missing out. I really enjoyed this book. I started it because it was shorter than the other books I have to listen to at this time. I'm so glad I did! I loved the storyline and characters. I want to go back to read/listen to RIDGE, Book 1. I think it would make it even better knowing more in depth all the characters in this world.

Dryw McArthur and Penelope Rose are excellent narrators! The performance was flawless. I really enjoyed their voices. The book rolled like a movie in my head.

Great Read

Wes (Frat House Confessions #2) was a good read by Bethany Lopez. Trixie was proud of the expose she wrote for the college newspaper last year. She does regret lying to a friend in order to get the inside scoop. She really enjoyed the time that she spent with Wes but regrets the fact that she had to lie to him. They cross paths again and they can't deny the feelings they have for each other. I really enjoyed reading Wes and Trixie's story and can't wait to read more by the author.

Second chance romance with all the feels

I recently listened to the audiobook of Wes by Bethany Lopez and enjoyed the second chance romance. Narrated by Dryw McArthur and Penelope Rose, we meet Trixie and Wes, two former friends who no longer talk after her betrayal to Wes. When something changes between them, is this their second chance? Wes was so sweet and likable. Trixie is determined and confident. They had some obstacles to face, but definitely shared a connection and I loved watching them work through them.

Happy listening!
