Publisher's summary

An aspiring teen filmmaker finds her voice and falls in love in this delightful romantic comedy from the New York Times best-selling author of When Dimple Met Rishi.

Aspiring filmmaker and wallflower Twinkle Mehra has stories she wants to tell and universes she wants to explore, if only the world would listen. So when fellow film geek Sahil Roy approaches her to direct a movie for the upcoming Summer Festival, Twinkle is all over it. The chance to publicly showcase her voice as a director? Dream come true. The fact that it gets her closer to her longtime crush, Neil Roy - aka Sahil’s twin brother? Dream come true x 2.

When mystery man “N” begins emailing her, Twinkle is sure it’s Neil, finally ready to begin their happily ever after. The only slightly inconvenient problem is that, in the course of moviemaking, she’s fallen madly in love with the irresistibly adorkable Sahil. Twinkle soon realizes that resistance is futile: The romance she’s got is not the one she’s scripted. But will it be enough?

Told through the letters Twinkle writes to her favorite female filmmakers, From Twinkle, with Love navigates big truths about friendship, family, and the unexpected places love can find you.

Beautiful, this is why YA is the best!

Twinkle isome of the best heroines I can remember! Loved the diary format, and her writing to female filmmakers!

Really enjoyed it!

I had a great time listening to this story. At first, I had a hard time with Twinkle but had to remind myself that I am no longer a high school student with a crush and trying to navigate life. The ending made my heart smile, and I loved learning how Twinkle grew throughout the book. Can't wait for Sandhya Menon's next book.

Cute ya

Cute ya novel. I especially loved that the heroine was dark skinned, something you don’t see portrayed with woc in romance that much(girls are typically always lighter than their love interest).

This author has a way with female characters that want to make change in the world in their own way. While I don’t think it was as memorable as when dimple met rishi, it was still cute.

She was a film maker too! It does follow a similar poor girl rich boy trope but it still stood on its own. Her friendships did frustrate me, especially Maddie(her former bestie) but I guess that’s the life of teens.

Sahil was super sweet too, so I couldn’t not think of a reason not to give it a five.

I liked it

I'm normally not a YA person, but I read When Dimple Met Rishi and LOVED it. That was 2 weeks ago, so I thought I'd try this one. At first, the female character was a bit....much, but I had to remind myself that I was probably like that at her age. It's funny how age makes you forget.
I felt that the story was good although the romance wasn't as fulfilling as When Dimple Met Rishi, but these were different characters. Unlike other books I've read, the supporting characters were enjoyable also
As far as narrators go, I enjoyed both although the female narrator got annoying at times. Keep in mind, this is a book about teenagers so I give her some slack. The male narrator was fantastic.
Overall, another really good read. I read it in a day if that tells you anything.

Absolutely darling

So cute with wonderful narration from both voice actors! Sandhya Menon is one of my fast favorite YA romantic comedy authors and this book just made that even more apparent to me!

it was ok

i really loved when dimple met Rishi so i was hoping to love twinkle as much. although i appreciated how she was written and the breakdown of social misunderstandings i wasn’t as connected to the characters . The narrators were great but in my opinion the story was missing something.

Cute Story Like A Bollywood Movie

Ok, so I enjoyed this book way more than her first book ( When Dimple Met Rishi ) although I did have a problem with Twinkle but the story itself seems like it came out straight from a Bollywood movie, there were some scenes that made me smile and Sahil's personality is very good and I liked him way more than Twinkle, the book although explores the issue of friendships and being compared to other people and not appreciating your full talent .. it was a nice cute book with a lot of fluff and not much drama

The narration was nice and average .. she did have a whiney voice at some point but she was fine .. and the male narrator was also good, nothing much to say

Whine whine whine.

I get the teenage angst but this one was too much. I did like how the story was told by both protagonists.
