About this listen

Galaxy on Fire: Publisher's Pack 3 contains Books 5 and 6 of the Galaxy on Fire series.

Dragon Fire, Book 5:

The galaxy is on fire. The ruthless Adamant Empire is sweeping across all of space leaving only chard ashes in their wake. No civilization can withstand their firestorm of conquest. But they made one serious mistake along their path to galactic domination. They pissed off Jon Ryan. Bad move. That's never a healthy thing to do.

Now in their darkest hour, the few remaining islands of freedom and light left untouched band together in a last-stand effort to stop the evil juggernaut. But will their best efforts and Jon's uncanny knack to pull off miracles be enough? And will the magical race of dragons join the fray and possibly turn the tide of war? If they remain aloof and uninvolved, it's likely the final surviving planets will surely fall.

Ashes, Book 6:

For the first time in millions of years the Adamant Empire finds itself shaken and on the ropes. The alliance established by Jon Ryan dealt them their first major defeat. But a wounded animal is all the more dangerous. If the splintered power structure of Adamant society is allowed to reunify, the galaxy will be lost to the blow of their iron-paw.

Jon and Sapale are in for the greatest shock and challenge of their eternal lives. While rescuing an associate they discover the secret of the Adamant's dominance. It's an old friend who they thought was lost in time. Will they be able to save their their old friend, or is he forever destine to serve the cruel canivir raiders? It will take all Jon's recourses, allies, and luck to pull this one off. But if he can it might just spell doom for the evil empire. If he fails, however, the galaxy and all those he loves will burn.

Enjoy this finale of the Galaxy on Fire Series. You will be so glad you did.

Good book - rushed incomplete ending

Book was great except I feel like the ending was an afterthought. Seemed they didn’t know how to end it, so they gave it 2 pages and moved on.

Scott Aiello Scott Aiello Scott Aiello

The third publisher’s pack of Galaxy on Fire lost steam, but did I mention I think Scott Aiello is awesome? For his performance alone it is worth the listen.

Seriously. His performance is phenomenal.

John Ryan stories never get old

This is the third time I've listened to all John Ryan's in order. I cannot get enough of them much like undying mercenaries or expeditionary Force or bobiverse these are books that you can listen to over and over again and never tire of them.

Enjoyed this series immensely!!!

Great series, truly humorous and fast paced. I am more into fantasy rather than sci-fi but this series kept me hooked from the first moment to the last!!!
Scott Aiello is awesome, his pacing, the way he reads the characters, the amazing sarcastic wit that flows perfectly through out the whole series, you know who is who and he just does the book justice!!! love love love him.

The Ryanverse Continues

Another grand and humorous galavant through John Ryan's universe.
Another great narration by Scott Aiello and his many voices that may or may not sound very similar to many movie characters we have all heard before and certainly our beloved author loves to make stereotypes of characters. It's all part of the humor that we know and love. I think I enjoyed this series more than the others and I enjoyed all of them very much.

Enjoyable mindless space opera

I have enjoyed every one of the Jon Ryan series that I have listened to. I agree with a previous post that they go on … and on… and on. That said the stories are imaginative in the same way the Tom Swift novels were engaging a generation ago. No one will accuse this series as being speculative fiction it is however entertaining in much the same way as Guardians of the Galaxy. John Ryan is basically Starlord. It’s good dumb fun!

Same John time. Same Ryan channel.

Yes it is the same John pulls some random impossible shit out of his ass and saves the day type of story, but I rather enjoy it. The creativity these stories and the impossible bullshit that Craig Robertson comes up with make for a very laughable and creative story.
