Publisher's summary

Sam Prichard doesn't usually see ghosts, despite his mother-in-law and her hallucinatory friend, Beauregard. However, when a man is murdered right in front of him, Sam doesn't forget a face, and when he sees that face again in an extremely embarrassing situation, he can't help but wonder what's going on. How could the dead man and his doppelgänger be connected to Sam's latest case, proving a client innocent of murdering his best friend? Some people think Sam has gone to the dogs over this one, because that's exactly who he has to go to for help to solve not just one murder but two. It's the wildest and craziest case Sam has ever been involved in, and the big question might be whether he will even survive.

Quick Listen

A fun little story. A few twists and turns. Well read and I definitely enjoyed it. And although I started in the middle of the series I was not lost.

Beauregard says Sam Prichard's 2 cases are related

He was right! Beauregard is the hallucinatory friend/ghost who speaks to Sam Prichard's mother-in-law. Ghost is Book 10 in David Archer's detective/musician Sam Prichard series. Most novels in the series have original songs written by the author. These family friendly suspense thrillers deserve a larger audience than they have. The audio novels are short averaging 5 hours, but this one is 3 hours 19 minutes. Narrator Mikael Naramore does a wonderful job.

Another strong addition to the Sam Pritchard series...

When I think of David Archer I think of "family friendly" books. This book does not change my view. Generally the curse words are kept at a minimum and if you asked me, I don't know if I could say if there are any in this book.
This is a good mystery. Sam and his wife are driving, a man runs out in front of his car and a second later is shot in the head. Jump ahead a few weeks and Sam sees him again- alive. It's an interesting story with Excellent narration by Mikael Naramore. One thing I get a kick out of is in a few of the Sam Pritchard books, since Sam is in a band, he often will sing one of his new songs with just an acoustic guitar to accompany him. Who is doing the singing? That's what I want to know because it sure doesn't sound like M Naramore but the person isn't given credit for his performance.
Anyway the book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
