About this listen

A ruthless executive. A destitute woman. Both on the way up.

Selina Hale is on her way to the top. She's been working towards a boardroom position on the 13th floor for her entire career. And no one is going to get in her way. Not her clueless boss, her soon to be ex-wife, and most certainly not the homeless person who has moved into the car park at work.

Kate Morgan fell through the cracks in a broken support system and found herself destitute. Determined and strong-willed, she's not about to accept help from a mean business woman who can't even remember the names of her own nephews.

As their lives continue to intertwine, they have no choice but to work together and follow each other on their journey up.

The Pinnacle of the Thirteenth Floor

Selina Hale was hell bent on getting to the 13th floor with a position on the board of directors. No one would stop her rise and she would bulldoze all obstacles.
Kate Morgan was homeless and barely surviving on the streets. She stayed in a shelter during the night and camped in a car park during the day.
How could a ruthless executive and a destitute woman possibly become friends?
Wonderful author and performance. Recommend.

All romance

Finally an age gap romance with a large gap. This is only the second one I’ve read. I think Selina and Kate make a great couple. Kate has had a hard time and has made her mature beyond her years. She can stand up to Selina and get her to open up. I have the same 27 yr gap with my partner and it can be challenging but love is love. Great narrator she has a perfect voice

I loved it

I thought this book to be a classic romance, as it is girl meets girl, they don’t like each other, there is drama and than they are happy ever after...
Loved the narration.

Down is not out

Love the come from when you down on luck story. A helping hand is what she needs but it is from the right person. A awesome character voice over to bring me in.

Slow Burn Perfection!

I absolutely love how well A. E. Radley develops her characters and how that character development creates a perfectly balanced story of friendship, love and connecting. Any Putt did a fantastic job bringing the voices of each character to life.

Great!

I loved Going Up. I had read the book. But the audio was excellent. Love the "moral" of the story. Helping someone else usually ends up to your benefit. Amy Putt did an excellent job with the narration.

Another wonderful book by this amazing author!

First, The narration was supurb, Mrs. Putt does a wonderful job of bringing the characters alive.
Second, the story if you hadn’t read the book is great as is. So I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it in audiobook. Well, needless to say, I liked it as much if not more listening to it. The story is sweet with just enough angsts between the two main characters to keep you hook threw out the story. I loved this characters and felt they were well written. Will definitely recommend...5 ⭐️
