About this listen

Filming herself sleeping ends up being the darkest decision of Katherine's life as her nocturnal recording reveals a dark discovery far worse than any nightmare she could have imagined sleeping with her in her bed. Katherine tries to run from the darkness of what she discovers, but cannot escape as her sleeping partner stalks her further and further into madness.

This was interesting. And disturbing.

Great narrator.

I listened to this at night, in the dark, next to my spouse sleeping quietly with the sleep apnea mask in place. This setting just might have been a mistake....

What did I just listen to?!

I am shocked at the bad reviews! Really? Why? The ending was perfect in my opinion! If you want a fast and chilling thrill ride then this is a great listen!

Excellent short story!

I was engaged all the way up to the very end. This had the making of a very good story! I mean, even movie worthy. But that ending may have been just “art”. If that’s the case, the ending could have been executed a lot better. I really wish I could have given it 5 stars.

kept my interest, but the ending sucked. it just stopped with a lot of unanswered questions.

for it being such a short story, I thought it was absolutely wonderful. There were times where I was literally on the edge of my seat. I'm a delivery driver so I listen to it while I'm at work, and I did not even want to pause it to deliver my packages. I recommend to anyone looking for a short good story.

more than I was expecting

The narrator was on point. This may have been what made the listen so enticing.
It may at times seem a bit predictable, but that all kind of dissolves at the ending.
Yes the ending is abrupt, but I think that’s the point. You have to remember the beginning to understand the ending, or presumed ending. You may be left wanting more story at the ending, but I think that would defeat the purpose of that “ Oh sh*t” moment.

I would definitely listen to this narrator again.
I would probably listen to the author again.

Good short read. Great narration.

Good narration. Great short story. Very suspenseful cliffhanger. Makes you yearn for a sequel or at least five more minutes…lol

WOW.

Excellent narration. The writing and the story kept my attention the whole time. However, the ending could've been better and tied up more threads.

Great narration. Good writing. Okay story.

unfortunately I have to give the story a mixed review. The narrator's voice did not help it at all as it was small and mousy. The story started off great and had a great premise. however, the last four chapters are sold. the story became muddled and discombobulated.

50/50
