About this listen

When Natalie snoops through her boyfriend's possessions, she finds more than she bargained for - Mark was once convicted of a brutal killing. However, he was not the only person sentenced for the murder of two-year-old Abby Morgan. The violent and twisted Adam Campbell was also convicted...and Mark knows more about the murder than he will admit. Can Mark ever break free from Adam and his past?

I really enjoyed this book it caught me from the start the performance was a little lacking, because it sounded like something recorded by cell phone, I like this narrator so it was her but the recording sounded a little weird

very good book

This was a good start to finish story that held my interest. However, I got caught up and had a hard time getting past some of the details such as the boys being only 11 yrs old for example. I understand it works for shock value and for a good tug and pull at the ethical implications of the culpably of children (and therefore the overall story) but the book would've been more solid and conceivable if the boys were 13 or even 12 yrs old - because those years are very significant in the development of boys. Even the physical descriptions of one of the boys was very unrealistic for a kid that is newly 11 yrs old. And the measures one of the boys took due to his fear also didn't match the intelligence and mentality of an 11 yr old boy. The relationship with the girlfriend that snoops through her BF's stuff to learn about his past had only been 4 months long - that just seems like such a short time for how serious the depth of the relationship was depicted - yes, of course I understand this amount of time is not rare and even common, but for the story, it would've been more understandable, especially that they were only 25 yrs old. Overall though, its decent story that maintained my curiosity and intrigue.

Interesting premise, details throw it off a little

Sappy characters. Boring story. Should’ve been a 1st draft. Never became the story it aspires to be. Returned it.

Not worth your time

I really enjoyed this one! I listened to it in one day. Gripping and jaw dropping, if you're looking for one like that - look no further. Definitely worth the time and money. So glad that I don't have anyone like that crazy guy in my circle of friends. 😀

An awesome story
