About this listen

I’ve wanted Gunnar forever...and it’s time for him to see that I’m not a kid, anymore.

I grew up in Hell’s Ankhor, and even though I’m 25, they all still see me as Ankh and Priest’s kid. Especially Gunnar. The Sargent has known me for years and watched me grow up. I would give anything to have him see me as the man I’ve become, instead of the scrawny boy I used to be, but it’s never going to happen.

I need to face the fact that Gunnar will never be mine, but when a devastating revelation sweeps through the club and cuts me to the core, he’s the one I turn to. And just when it seems like things might change between us, a threat from a rival MC puts me in the crosshairs.

We can fight any battle that comes at us, but can I make Gunnar believe that our relationship is really strong enough to face any challenge? Or, will new dangers and old fears break our hearts and put the club at risk?

Great

This was a great listen, i I was excited to listen to this story I have read the book but was intrigued to see how the characters came to life with a narrator. I was not disappointed it was like listening to a new story I loved Gunnar and Raven before but this gave them so much more. You get a little angst with there cat and mouse game but the chemistry is hot. Loved this slow burn story.

Much Better

This review is for the audiobook version. The narrator for this books was leaps and bounds better than the one in book one. This one did the wonderful story justice.

Amazing Story

I loved this story. I liked that I could jump into this story whether or not you have read the first one. This was a slow burn but with everything else going on in this story you didn't feel it took forever for the two main characters to get together. The narrator did an amazing job, his voice was like heaven. And he really put in the story. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book so when it came out on audio I was super excited. The series was well written the charters are so amazing and loveable. Thomas did such a great job bringing the charters to life and making them so much more than i ever dreamed they would be.

Gunnar & Raven

I really enjoyed this book and it’s a great follow up to the first in this series although it can also be read as a stand alone. Gunnar and Raven are great together and I really enjoyed all the sexual tension between them and watching them finally start to get their acts together and start a real relationship. The overall focus of the story was sad and difficult for all the members of the MC but at least it seemed to help Gunnar and Raven finally come together. I’m really looking forward to getting Rebel’s story next. The narrator did great with the characters and the story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

Gunnar and Raven - Wow! Terrific story!!

Suspense, intrigue, action, love and so much more.

I was so looking forward to this story on audible and it didn't disappoint.  The narrator is new to me and he is really good!  i loved how he brought this story to life

Really well done characters that will resonate with your heart. The story-line was solid and the flow was great.  I am absolutely enjoying this world and want more.  Terrific story!

Gunnar and Raven are such a great pair of characters, both have their insecurities and yet both are so strong and their flaws are understandable.  Once they understood each other's feelings they were really strong and beautiful together.  My heart hurt for both of them as they worked their way through to really connecting and being partners.

This is book two of the Hell's Ankhor series and could be read as a stand-alone, however i would strongly recommend reading it as part of the series.  There is some relationships and plot that occurs in the first book that will make this book even better!

Worth a listen

I was intrigued by Gunnar after reading the blurb and wasn’t disappointed. It worked fine as a stand-alone though I can see how others would add to the story. I enjoyed the back and forth between Gunnar and Raven and how it took time for their relationship to progress. The narrator did a great job of bringing all the characters to life here.

Deep, action packed, and steamy!

Raven- tech geek, raised in the club from infancy by his dad (the prez) and his pops (the vp), carries a crush on Gunnar who helped train him up when he was a kid. Gunnar - a man with a bloody past and future, enforcer and Sargent for the club, hiding deep feelings for Raven, who is totally off limits. This story has a fantastic plot, with threads of a deep bond finally forming after years of crushing and denying. The death of Ravens dad and president of the MC is investigated and the whole club is in turmoil. The action is amazing- if a bit bloody and gritty, the relationship is genuine, the bedroom (shower, garage) scenes are smoking hot, and the characters are really well written. The audio book is read well, but I personally prefer books read with clear differences in character voices - which this one does not have.

Gunnar and Raven

Gunnar is book 2 in the Hell's Ankhor series. This story is about Gunnar and Raven. This is an action packed story with an age gap romance. Though Gunnar is older than Raven and has had feelings for the young man for awhile, he always thought Raven deserved better than him. I really enjoyed Gunnar and Raven's journey as they discovered were they fit in each other's lives and as Gunnar realized Raven was no longet a kid. The Hell's Ankhor club discovered much about a rival club the Vipers. I look forward to see what they do with that information in up coming books in the series.
Narrator Thomas Hart does a fabulous job.

Way better than the first!

This story was way better than “Blade”. The mystery and thrill was what made this sequel special. Raven and Gunnar’s character development throughout this story helped keep you guessing. A fun joy ride of a romance story!!!
