Would you listen to Hard Boiled again? Why?

Yes! It was a fun book. Susan and Henry are off on another adventure in this third book of the series. I hope there will be another book in the Susan Cramer Mystery series. I've grown fond of the characters. They seem like real people, Susan makes fun of herself and they finally have adopted their two children, Oscar and Brianne. The story flowed really well and I'm wondering if Henry's heart condition will be cured. Looking forward to another book in this great series!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Absolutely! Kathryn Jones knows how to write a story and throw you off track. It was a surprise ending and I never saw it coming, but the story was exciting!

What does Lauren Holladay bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Lauren has done a great job as the reader. I can distinguish the voices very easily. She's stayed consistent with the main characters voices and is really a very good story teller. I look forward to listen to more books by Lauren Holladay

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not a particular moment, but I'm moved by the love and the bond for life between Susan and Henry.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend the Susan Cramer Mystery Series. I listened to all three so far and am hoping for book number four!

I am a huge fan of Kathryn Elizabeth Jones. Her books are fun and I'm really enjoying this series. Our heroine, Susan, is a death magnet. It seems like everywhere she goes, someone drops dead. Of course, being the amateur sleuth she is, Susan attempts to solve the murder. I look forward to the next book in the series. 5 stars across the board.
