About this listen

He walks among them by day only to hunt them by night.

Women are being found dead, contorted, and raped as the Pike Peaks Killer makes headlines. With Detective Frost's abilities doubted, and no new leads on the case, FBI Agent Jaxson Locke arrives uninvited to help with the investigation. With pressure from the media mounting, and the bodies piling up, Frost is out of time. His only chance is to utilize Locke's shocking profile at great risk, hoping to catch the killer before he strikes again.

Can the two work together? Or will the killer escape justice once again?

Twists and Turns

This novel starts off strong, catching the reader (listener) in a web of darkness and psychopathy that permeates the entire title from beginning to end. The twists and turns that are found are truly surprising, and make the listener think. This novel is reminiscent of Kiss the Girls, in my opinion, in many ways, but also different enough to be a fresh take on a serial killer story. Overall, I’m quite impressed and looking forward to enjoying more from Michael Merson.
