How childish a take it is on horror and gruesome imagery

When I heard the was an entire genre to fill the gap and write stories that focus on the gruesome and macabre, and the stories and topics others don't dare to write about, I was excited

I kept wanting to give this book another chance, every time I did it was minutes in before I was already irritated with how much it seems like a super edgy middle schooler had written it.

This isn't just the fantasy of gruesome story telling, this is the fantasy of focusing violent actions on men for political views and praising it by writing them all as monsters.
Mistreatment, gore, unfairness all comes with this genre, but I expected more than "man bad, torture kill then 5 minute description of buttholes and vaginas" really were it just gruesome torture porn for the sake of that alone, it would have been a much better decision. Sexism also isnt a niche topic, its not some grand discovery.
I proudly present to you, the to worst anthology I've ever heard in my life.
