About this listen

Something wickedly sexy this way comes…

A laugh out loud witchy romcom for fans of Lana Harper and Erin Sterling !

Things you should know about Poppy:

1. She’s a witch

2. She has magical hair like Rapunzel from Tangled

3. She lives with Iris, the head of her coven, in a beautiful, ramshackle house next to Highgate cemetery

4. She works at Hubble Bubble, a magic shop in Covent Garden. Though none of it is real magic as that would be highly irresponsible. Until…

…Poppy accidentally sells gorgeous celebrity magician Axl Storm, all six-foot-four of him, a cursed pendant.

When all hell breaks loose can the guy with fake magic and the girl with real magic fix the chaos they’ve caused? Or will sparks fly both in and out of the cauldron?

Fun and mysterious with really fun imagery. I'm already hoping for another title in this story.

Fun and fascinating from start to finish! I'm hoping for more stories in this series. Hex Appeal being tied in made me cackle maniacly with glee.

Love it

The reader is great. The book is a perfect blend of clever, fluffy, and funny. I hope there will be more books set in this world.

Love, love, love

This. Book. I picked it up as a fun, Halloween-romance read and it turned into so much more than that! I genuinely did not see some of the big twists coming, and I fell in love with these characters. This is one of those rare books that I think actually works better in audio because of the accents used, and I’m holding out hope for a sequel. I want to stay in this world and with this writing forever!

Fun and Surprisingly New

Enough is at stake that you will want to keep reading, but not so much that reading becomes harder than your real life. Great vacation read and likeable characters.

Wonderfully complex plot and very likable characters.

Let’s just say that I’m done with romances with zero plot and romantic comedies with little fun or wit. HEX in the CITY has delightful characters who are complicated and all too human (yes, even the witches). Listen to this audio and enjoy!
