About this listen

A million-pound heist. A man on the run. A gang hellbent on seeking revenge.

When private investigator Detective Sebastian Clifford is asked by his former society girlfriend to locate her fiancé—who’s disappeared along with some valuable pieces of art—he’s reluctant to help. He’s left the aristocratic world behind, and for good reason. But when his ex starts receiving threatening letters, Clifford is left with no choice.

When he enlists the help of his partner Lucinda Bird, aka Birdie, they start digging and find themselves drawn into London’s underworld. It's hard to see the truth between the shadows and lies until a clue leads them in the direction of Clifford's nemesis, and Clifford realizes they're all in more danger than he thought. The race is on to find the missing man and the art before lives are lost.

Hidden From Sight is a perfect mix of mystery, intrigue, and danger that will delight fans of detective stories. It is the fourth installment in the bestselling, fast-paced Detective Sebastian Clifford series and the most gripping yet. Listen now and see if you can solve the crime.

Love the continuation of this series. After books 1-3, I moved right on to the 4th. The author knows how to write a story, and, as far as I'm concerned, she avoids the devices used by contemporary "thriller" writers which actually detract, thankfully.

Like the previous books in the series, it starts off well, getting right into the story and continues at a good pace. Add to that the charismatic and intelligent narration

Now, on to Book 5!

Book 4 a great addition to the series

This is a new author for me and I’m very impressed. I do not like books that include foul language or sex. This was very refreshing. I’m starting book five now.

Love the characters

Good story, keeps you engaged. Good characterisation. Good relationship between main protagonists, accents credible, female voices a bit weak

Good storyline, credible characters

A good mystery story with a great narration. As an ex Londoner I like the city descriptions as well as the banter between the main characters. And I still find it quite amusing hie many English men are intimidated by aristocrats

I like these

Excellent crime solver

Such a perfect combination of DI Clifford and Birdie. Excellent storylines and twists!! Keep them coming and maybe add a romance between DCI Whitney Walker and DI Clifford. That would be an excellent way to end the DCI Walker storylines and just bring her into DI Clifford’s storyline. And of course George too.

Love the stories and twist!
