About this listen

When a stack of library materials is found at the scene of a hit-and-run, library director Lindsey Norris finds herself dragged into the investigation as the police try to link the driver of the stolen car to the person who borrowed the books. Before Lindsey can delve into the library's records, the victim of the hit-and-run, Theresa Houston, suffers another accident, and the investigation shifts from driver negligence to attempted homicide.

A clue surfaces in the confiscated library materials that could crack open the case, and it's up to Lindsey to piece it all together. But things are not as they seem in the sleepy town of Briar Creek. When the driver of the stolen car turns up dead, Lindsey, her staff, and her library friends have to hit the books before the murderer gets the last word....

BEST Mystery of the series (#9=WOW)!

Jenn McKinlay this is the best book of your series. Allyson Ryan's narration is excellent as always.

With the character, who have become friends over the last 8 books, are full of surprises. From the beginning to end it involves the readers as the story expands and develops. It doesn't slow down! You will love this new addition.

I HAVE MISSED LINDSAY AND SULLY

NEW ADVENTURE WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE COUPLES, NOT TO MENTION EMMA AND ROBBIE. CHANGE IS IN THE WIND, BUT THE KIND I DON'T MIND AT ALL. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS I READ IT ALL TODAY, AND NOW I MUST WAIT FOR THE NEXT.

Crazy female villains are getting old

I love the characters and the stories but the last five books have had crazy, jealous female villains. It’s getting a bit old. It’s also not very realistic.

Excellent story, narration off

Always love Lindsay Norris books, this was no exception. I think the narrator typically does an outstanding job, she also has a very pleasant voice to listen to. This time she seemed a little off with Miss Cole’s voice. I wasn’t sure if it was Nancy or someone else - and then found out it was Miss Cole. Definitely distracting. Too bad; otherwise her narration is outstanding!

Hitting the books

This was one of the worst written books and also the worst narration. The men sounded like girls not even woman. 5 👎down
