A Very Bossy Christmas: Declan Cannavale is a grumpy lawyer who needs a date to his family holiday events. He will only give the gorgeous assistant who keeps him in line some time off if she agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend.
A Very Friendly Valentine's Day: Eddie Cannavale is a gorgeous TV star who has been best friends with Nerdy Birdie since college. Will a wintry train ride across the country finally take them from friends to lovers too?
A Very Vegas St. Patrick's Day: Nolan Cassidy is a former boxer and as Irish as they come. He's used to getting what he wants with a grin and a sexy accent, but the single mom who woke up married to him in Vegas is going to make him fight to keep her--and her young son is his slipperiest opponent yet!
Find out why the Very Holiday series of standalones is a fan favorite!

Story
The plane is jam-packed. Every seat is taken. So of course the flight is delayed! Flight attendant Allegra Patel likes her job—she’s generally happy with her life, even if she can’t figure out why she hooks up with a man she barely speaks to—but today is her twenty-eighth birthday. She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Story
Kidnappers grabbed Jenna in broad daylight, right in front of her children and their horrified classmates. Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again. As Jenna’s mother scrambles to gather the money, detectives Mo Butler and George Ortega follow the trail of the kidnappers, which will lead them through a sordid landscape of jealous lovers, broken dreamers, and twisted schemers. But every second counts, and there’s one thing Jenna Wade doesn’t have: very much time.

It’s the Most Wonderful Box Set of the Year
There is nothing not to love about this box set as the “Very Holiday” series is some of Kayley Loring’s best work and with the box set, we get the first 3 books of the series and THEE best narration!! With A Very Bossy Christmas and A Very Friendly Valentine’s Day, we get to see more of the RomComs we’ve grown to love from Kayley where she is executing just the most perfect, charming storylines with such well thought out writing that will always have you not only falling completely in love with all of the characters but also laughing out loud because of the quick wit and clever banter. And the musical references. Those sharp, well-placed musical references are what makes Kayley such a master of her craft, knowing exactly when and how to use them for the best effect. Throw in the swoon and spice and you won’t want to stop listening!! No matter your trope of choice, this series is bound to have at least one of them and it has all the hilarious (and sometimes drunken) voicemails and text messages you never knew you needed as it brings out the best snort-inducing laughs you’ll be thinking about long after you’re done listening!!
With the Very Holiday series, we are introduced to the Irish-Italian Cannavale/O’Sullivan/Cassidy families and friends. While all of books in the series intertwine with each other and we hear little tidbits about all of the characters we’ve grown to love throughout, each of the books focuses on one leading man and his lady love!
In A Very Bossy Christmas we’ve got Declan, a successful lawyer who is the most alpha of all alpha males… he’s cocky and he works too much but dang if he’s isn’t also the swooniest and most lovable at the same time, especially when you get to know him! And the filthy mouth on that one… this guy is the ultimate book boyfriend. Until we meet Eddie, Declan’s brother, in A Very Friendly Valentine’s Day. Giving book boyfriends everywhere a run for their money. He’s a Hollywood actor and ends up on a cross-country train ride with his longtime best friend (who just happens to be a woman of course!) These 2 have the sweetest (and funniest) friends-to-lovers coupling and are so lovable, you can’t get enough of them and the shenanigans that ensue… so so great!!
Rounding out the 3rd main man in the first box set of the series is Nolan Cassidy, an Irish cousin to Declan and Eddie who is full of piss and vinegar. With A Very Vegas St. Patrick’s Day, we get to see the co-writing skills of the man himself, the male narrator for the Very Holiday Series, Mr. Connor Crais. Connor absolutely dominates not only the series, making each character unique in their own way so as to stand out from the others, but as Nolan Cassidy, he crushes the Irish accent and gives you the real life heart eyes emoji while you swoon. As a co-writer, Connor blends so well with Kayley that it’s hard to know where one of their writing ends and the other’s begins. The comedic timing and heart put behind the writing to not only make what you’re reading and listening to a great story but to be the kind of story that will have you talking about it with and recommending it to your friends long after the fact is what makes Kayley and Connor’s writing next level, making them a forever favorite!!
