Publisher's summary

A cancelled engagement. A non-refundable honeymoon. A Christmas Robin will never forget.

Robin Ellis has had a year she'd like to forget. She's tired, overworked and most definitely not ready to spend the holidays with her rowdy family in Manchester. So when she discovers she forgot to cancel her honeymoon she sees this as the perfect opportunity to get away; it's time to relax and embrace adventure!

The last thing she expects is to clash with standoffish ski instructor Neve. But despite their rocky start these two unlikely people can't help but fall for each other under the starry Canadian skies.

They know that holiday romances don't last, and Robin has had her heart broken one too many times before, but can they overcome the distance between them and find a happily ever after together?

A sparkling sapphic wintry holiday romance, perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan, Heidi Swain and Jo Thomas.

Loved it

Fun, witty, quirky and sweet. I loved the characters and writing. The story was lovely. Very sweet how the MCs drew each other out.
I liked the narrators voice and I think she captured the dry wit well, but most of the characters sounded the same. If not for the accents, I would have been able to differentiate between the main characters. Otherwise, a job well done. This will probably get another listen from me down the road.

A cozy Christmas story

This was the perfect romance for the Christmas holiday. I loved the small town vibe. The main characters were easy to fall in love with. This book will definitely be one I read each Christmas. And the narrator did an A+ job. If you’re looking for a light romance to warm your heart, this is the one.

Typical Lesbian Format

It was ok. The angst felt pushed. Resolutions happened too fast. I would have preferred more family interaction on New Years Eve.

Kinda loved everything about this

This story was so fun and engaging. The characters were relatable; both with their own heart break and trust issues, all of which were realistic and not overplayed. I definitely identified with their feelings of wanting to love and trust, but having been burned before and wanting to have learned from their mistakes.

Plus, the narrator sounded like if the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz had a lovechild. There's just something about those northerner accents that I can't get enough of.
Also, some people claimed that the voices all sounded the same, but I disagree. This narrator may not do as glaringly different voices as, say, Angela Daw or Abby Craden, but each character did have a distinct voice and I never had trouble telling the characters apart.

10/10, will listen again
