About this listen

The epic conclusion to Ann Aguirre's USA Today best-selling trilogy.

The horde is coming. Salvation is surrounded, monsters at the gates, and this time, they're not going away. When Deuce, Fade, Stalker and Tegan set out, the odds are against them. But the odds have been stacked against Deuce from the moment she was born.

She might not be a Huntress anymore, but she doesn't run. With her knives in hand and her companions at her side, she will not falter, whether fighting for her life or Fade's love.

Ahead, the battle of a lifetime awaits. Freaks are everywhere, attacking settlements, setting up scouts, perimeters, and patrols. There hasn't been a war like this in centuries, and humans have forgotten how to stand and fight. Unless Deuce can lead them. This time, however, more than the fate of a single enclave or outpost hangs in the balance. This time, Deuce carries the banner for the survival of all humanity.

Just a bit too repetitive for me. I wish the author had assumed that if I was reading Horde I knew the back stories and did not have to hear it again with every battle. Everyone's stories were tied up neatly.

End of a series

Loved it, the narration was much better in this book and couldn't have written the story better. Great for girls and boys with battle and love scenes.

Perfect ending to the series!!!

The story was wrapped up perfectly, you get a realistic happy ending with suspected amounts of death while not hating the author for the deaths haha. A great heroic end!

Beautifully wrapped

Story line: wonderful
Acting: beautiful
This series was such a joy to listen to. it's not your run-of-the-mill apocalyptic or zombie series. I will definitely recommend to ask of my friends and family.

fantastic!

I'd even go up to 4½♥'s on this one. Great ending!

It was just a refreshing dystopian that ends on a high note, which I oh-so-love (rather than a mass-murder 'let's-kill-off-all-the-characters-the-readers-love'... This is dystopian done right. It's true to the ages of the characters; still hormonal- after all, they ARE teenagers) sometimes the monsters are not the ugliest thing out there... I just really liked this all around.

Anyone that is a fan of dystopian that wants a slightly older read (without being anywhere near racy romance... not racy at all, very sweet and tasteful and innocent) and that leaves you with hope... check this series out!

Although, I stand by the fact that the 'horde'... it's Reavers from Firefly. Totally Reavers.
*I spoke to Anne at a signing recently, and I'm not the first person to make that comparison. However, she never watched Firefly until after finishing the series.*

Great Ending that I Didn't See Coming!

Loved is series. The "woman empowerment" was quite obvious and got a little annoying at times but it's not really a big deal. We get it you're just as good as a 15 year old boy could be with your fighting and weapons. But whatever like I said it wasn't a big deal. The romance with the characters wasn't overbearing like in the divergent series. I like a little romance but the drawn out scenes are annoying, so the author did well with that. Good ending and it made you feel happy and sad and excited and angry and hyped up throughout the whole series. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes post apocalyptic Story lines

Very enjoyable

I listen to three books over and over and yet I enjoy it more than I did the first time! So rare to find one book without profanity, vampires, or magic! And here I have three!

My Favorite Trilogy
