Story
There are 20 million acres of lawns in North America. In their current form, these unproductive expanses of grass represent a significant financial and environmental cost. However, viewed through a different lens, they can also be seen as a tremendous source of opportunity. Access to land is a major barrier for many people who want to enter the agricultural sector, and urban and suburban yards have huge potential for would-be farmers wanting to become part of this growing movement.

Story
Is bourbon the quintessential American liquor? Bourbon is not just alcohol - the amber-colored drink is deeply ingrained in American culture and tangled in American history. From the early days of raw corn liquor to the myriad distilleries that have proliferated around the country today, bourbon is a symbol of the United States. This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

Story
We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

Good info, bad delivery
The info within the book is great for beginners. The talent that read the book is very annoying to listen to. Poor cadence, sounds a little robotic at times and it sounds like parts of the audio file is corrupt a little. But still a good book. Worth it

Works Better As a Book
About half of the book is technical DIY instructions for verious pots and tools. While this was probably a great feature in the original book, it doesn't translate well into audiobook form.
The audio sounds likes it was recorded over skype or on someone's cell phone. The editing has a very unnatural pace to it as well. The speaker often dives into the next topic or sentence without giving the listener any time to digest what they're hearing.
Aside from those issues, there's a decent amount of good info. I would recommend this at a price point of about 2 or 3 dollars. Unless you really prefer audiobook, just go get the book.
