About this listen

When Maddy Thorne agreed to marry her billionaire boss in order to keep him in the country, she never would have guessed they'd actually stay together. But over a year later, she's still happily married to the slightly eccentric, maddeningly attractive Daniel. As he begins to come out of his shell and turn into the figurehead that his growing technology company needs, Maddy finds herself dealing with a whole new set of problems. And despite his newfound openness, he's still keeping secrets. Even from her. But despite her misgivings and the ever-present prattle of journalists, really, Maddy can't complain.

Then, a frantic late-night phone call changes everything.

Daniel has been accused of illegal insider trading. His assets frozen, he suddenly finds himself at the center of a media circus and a trial under a merciless judge with no way out. Maddy wants to support him, but it seems all Daniel wants to do is crawl back into his shell. In the midst of the chaos, Maddy receives an offer to display her drawings at one of the most influential galleries in the city. Pulled in two directions even as her life crashes down around her, will Maddy allow Daniel to keep pushing her away, or will she find a way to pull him back?

This book needs to re-recorded!! It must have been recorded in an empty room, it almost echoes through the whole thing. The narrator unfortunately was just not good at all! The main character sounded ok at best but everyone else was the same voice and monotone no matter what was going on in the story. I couldn't get past that enough to actually get into the story.

The narrator ruined the book

What did you like best about I Married a Billionaire: Lost and Found? What did you like least?

Great story HORRIBLE narration.

Would you be willing to try another book from Melanie Marchande? Why or why not?

I love Melanie Marchande books, yes yes yes.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Arley Tapirian?

Her horrible inhilations of breath are beyond distracting. Either the equipment was at fault or Arley needs breathing lessons.
Andi Arndt or Eva Christensen or Elena Wolfe would have been huge improvement.

Was I Married a Billionaire: Lost and Found worth the listening time?

absolutely YES!!!!

Narrator sucking air ruins book.

This was a fantastic ending. Actually better than part one. Which rarely happens. Worth every page.

Great Sequel

However, I must agree with my fellow listeners, the narrator is atrocious. I started and stopped 3 times because of the narrator. I've listened to quite a few books and the only reason I kept listening was the story. Ms. Tapirian needs to control her breathing. Every character sounded flat. Good, hard listen.

I did like this novel

There are moments here which are very interesting or sexually exciting or well described. But, on the whole, this book is soggy oatmeal, especially compared with book 1

could have been better

I loved book one and the narrator. Why would they change??? The narrator matched the character in book one, in book two, I had to stop listening because I found myself gritting my teeth in chapter 3!!!!! It was truly horrific. She rushes through the sentence and then takes a huge gulp of air so she can rush through the next line. It made me cringe. Not to mention, she sounds like she is 20 years older than the characters. I really want to finish listening to the book, but I don't know if I can handle it!!!!!!!

Beyond terrible narration!!!

What did you like best about I Married a Billionaire: Lost and Found? What did you like least?

I was looking forward to listening to the next installment of Maddie's and Daniel's story. The sound quality of this recording was bad. It sounded like this was recorded in someone's bathroom or under a tin can. To make matters worse, the narrator's interpretation of Daniel's voice was wooden and seemed to lack any depth.

Good Story, Horrible Listening Experience

With this narrator it was a struggle to understand who was speaking. When a character changed, male or female? Ughhh.

Good book rough narration...
