About this listen

"This endlessly fun and hugely entertaining romp through Europe had me laughing out loud and reaching for my passport.” —Jennifer E. Smith, author of Windfall

A POPSUGAR Best Young Adult Novel of 2017!

Nineteen-year-old Sydney has the perfect summer mapped out. She’s spending the next four and a half weeks travelling through Europe with her childhood best friend Leela. Their plans include Eiffel Tower selfies, eating cocco gelato, and making out with très hot strangers.

Her plans do not include Leela’s cheating ex-boyfriend showing up on the flight to London, falling for the cheating ex-boyfriend’s très hot friend, monitoring her mother’s spiraling mental health via texts, or feeling like the rope in a friendship tug of war.

In this hilarious and unforgettable adventure, New York Times bestselling author Sarah Mlynowski tells the story of a girl learning to navigate secret romances, thorny relationships, and the London Tube. As Sydney zigzags through Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, and France, she must learn when to hold on, when to keep moving, and when to jump into the Riviera...wearing only her polka dot underpants.

Should have had an age warning

Can’t believe I listened to the whole book. Purely adolescent. The signs were obvious early. Don’t expect any insight about traveling in Europe. I’ll give this a rating of Immature, ages 12-20.
I must have been desperate.

Made me start planning my own

I loved this book! It completely inspired me to start planning my own European adventure. I liked the voices the performer used for the dialogue of different characters and accents but the voice she spoke in for the main character was a little irritating until I got used to it.

A Good Travel Book

it was a very well written travel book, I really felt like I traveled through out Europe with this group .. however I really disliked Leela, she is so selfish and I couldn't stand her at all .. Sydney is nice but I thought she was so annoying when she was so turned on when she see's Jackson, and the ending was not satisfactory for my taste
but it was a nice read

The narration wasn't the best but it was good enough

Not the intended demo…

It’s a cute story and takes place in all my favorite cities…
Held my interest . I could do without all the “I saids “, but other than that 5 stars.
Oh and I am no where near the targeted demographic, but found it super enjoyable.
Just want to travel again so badly …

So fun!

I liked this bc it was a light fun read about 2 girls traveling thru Europe. I loved the fun atmosphere of their adventures! My one downfall is I feel like the first week or so of their travels took up most the book and the last 3 weeks are squished in the last like hour of the book. Would recommend!

Fun Book!

This was definitely not my normal kind of book! I happened to listen to the sample and wanted to know more. I listened to it in a couple of days! I guess it’s geared toward younger people but I really enjoyed the story. It took me on an adventure and let me escape my own issues for a while! WIN!! It took me a bit to get past the “she says”, “he says”, “I say” after every sentence. I do wish there’d be a sequel to this one!

loved it

I started planning my "I see London I see France" Vacation! When you first read or listen to this you might think it's just for teenagers but stop right there lol.... it has alot more adult content I would say this book is great for ages 16+ great ideas in this book about traveling the love story was cute I can take it or leave it. WHEN YOU READ THIS HAVE AN OPEN MIND! Things that Sydney deals with at home and on vacation at least 75% of us readers have these very same problems as well that drew me in to this book as well.
