Chippy isn't happy with who he is and wants to be a brownie. With help from his teacher, Mrs. Chipster, he realizes he can be happy with who he is, if he believes in himself.
Children will be able to relate to what has happened to Chippy and will be pleased as they see sad Chippy become happy being himself. This is a heartwarming storybook for early learners, perfect for bedtime.

Cliffy Chippy is a chocolate cookie, who lives in Chippyville. He is lonely and sad; and wishes that he was a brownie. He do not play with other Chippys or take part in anything. He cries himself to sleep every day. Mrs. Chipster, his favorite teacher, asks him to come home one day. She makes him see his true self and what is most important in life.
Children constantly keep comparing themselves to others, not knowing they are already perfect and unique in their own way. I loved how the author brought out this very common, but important subject to kids in the most adorable and acceptable way. The authors has a way with words that kids will easily get into the book.
The audio version is great as well. The narration was done by Gabrielle Byrne. Gabrielle really sounds so kid-friendly and her expressions in words will make kids laugh and understand better.
I highly highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, who reads bedtime stories to their kids.
Recommended to anyone and everyone!
