About this listen

Only killing stops the pain....

Callie Cantrell has only fragmented memories of the car accident that killed her husband and son. One year later, she's still trying to start over, yet she can't shake her unease. Especially when former LA cop West Laughlin barges into her life, searching for his young nephew. At first he thinks Callie's lying about who she is and what she knows. But soon it's clear that Callie and West are linked by a killer who has bent others to his twisted will. The worst night of Callie's life was just the beginning of his vengeance. And when her turn comes again there will be no escape....

This was a pretty good book. There were many twists and turns and surprises at the end. The Voice wasn’t as good as some, but it was OK. Lots of narrative as people were thinking their thoughts. There could’ve been less of that, I think.

Where does I'll Find You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a really good book. A great roller ride. Normally, I can figure out who or at least the why in mystery novels, but Nancy threw in a curve ball or two and kept me guessing.

What did you like best about this story?

I like that is a little romance added in with the mystery.

Which character – as performed by Marisa Vitali – was your favorite?

Callie. I never really like female voices protraying male voice, but Marisa did well. Still, I liked the main character, Callie.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did want to listen to this novel in one sitting. I didn't, but if it were possible, I would have.

Great Book

Director and reader need new jobs as the latter sounds bored, monotoned and the former for not realizing this fact. As to the story, boring and poorly paced. In the end a waste of money: don't bother... Monotonous.

Ruined by the reader - I wish I hadn't found...

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm sure I would have - with a different narrator!

What was most disappointing about Nancy Bush’s story?

I'm not convinced the story was disappointing ... the narrator completely ruined this book for me. I have several of Nancy Bush's audiobooks and have gotten completely wrapped up in each of them, but I just could not finish this one.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Marisa Vitali?

January LaVoy or Natalie Ross

Any additional comments?

I will borrow the book from the library because I'm sure the story is worth another chance.

Note to self: remember this narrator's name!!

I have no idea.

What was most disappointing about Nancy Bush’s story?

It ran on and on going nowhere, saying the same thing over and over. Finally I had enough and turned it off.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Didn't really like it nor disliked it.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

A whole lot of disappointment which made me sad.

Any additional comments?

Wouldn't waste your time nor money.

not my cup of tea
