Publisher's summary

The last thing I needed was a call from my old precinct letting me know my knucklehead nephew had been picked up for skipping class. Still, I figured it would be an in-and-out visit. Quick. Simple. But the moment I heard her voice, I should've known it would be anything but easy.

I wasn't expecting the feelings that came roaring back the moment I laid eyes on the saucy detective with the gorgeous smile, but I probably should've seen it coming. Our history is one for the books, and it's a page-scorcher. And now here she is, standing in my way, and I can't seem to remember why I ever let her leave my side.

It looks like the sparks between me and Detective Danita Moralez are as intense as ever, but she's also more guarded than before. Two years ago, she walked out of my life because she wasn't willing to reveal the dangerous truth about her undercover work. This time, she's not going to get away so easily.

Way to go Blue Sapphire. This was a great book with so many elements and twist. it kept me wondering and trying to figure out the truth. Beautiful love at first sight but so real. Thank you and I look forward to Trents story.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this book. Dem was a bit annoying, but I did enjoy her and Kevin. Glad she finally let go. I can't wait for Trent and Shane's story.

Loved it!

I have been a fan of Blue Saffire for years. I thought I wasn't going to like thus audible because of the female narrator not being the same from the first book but I was surprised. I really enjoyed the flow of the book and the narrators did a great job. I'm ready for book 3.

Predictable & Good

Kev and Dem are great, the plot was a little predictable yet another cliffhanger to follow.

I was disappointed

I prepared for this book by going back to calling on Quinn. I have to say that I didn't really like her at first but as the book went on I could only grudgingly say she went up to okay. I liked in the first book, how the family was involved all throughout the book but this one seemed to be mostly them with some Harris spread through the pages. This book was too long, and I do love a long book but by the time it got to the steamy parts, I honestly did not care. The only thing that kept me going was knowing the progression of the story compared to the first book. There were no real updates on Erin and they treated Cal like he was dead. I found myself saying "that is what you get with your lying ***" and I was not talking about her job, it was during the airport scene. If you have to tangle with someone who is bigger than you in all ways, can you really try to teach them some manners?? It wasn't him that was lacking but her. I hope the next book is better or that is it for me.

Blackharts Book 2

This story runs parallel to Calling on Quinn (Book 1), so if you’ve read book one part of the storyline will seem familiar. Kevin and Danita had quite a journey to get to their happily after, but I felt like the story stretched out longer than necessary to have a satisfactory conclusion. Also, the pacing was a bit slow which made the story seem to take longer to end.

However, I still enjoyed In Deep. The interaction between characters is delightful and the banter between the H/h and between the siblings is believable. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
