Publisher's summary

As a neuroscientist, Marjorie Woollacott had no doubts that the brain was a purely physical entity controlled by chemicals and electrical pulses. When she experimented with meditation for the first time, however, her entire world changed. Woollacott's journey through years of meditation has made her question the reality she built her career upon and has forced her to ask what human consciousness really is. Infinite Awareness pairs Woollacott's research as a neuroscientist with her self-revelations about the mind's spiritual power. Between the scientific and spiritual worlds, she breaks open the definition of human consciousness to investigate the existence of a nonphysical and infinitely powerful mind.

So good!

The narrator left me intrigued the entire way through and in awe of her eloquence. If you're into metaphysics, human behaviors, the supernatural, and all the science-y stuff behind it, then you'll love this book. Superb 🤌🏼

A great book that opened my mind to more

I was skeptical about this book, but it really delivered.

The author explains multiple views on consciousness from a true scientific perspective. She seems aware of her own biases, and is able to beautifully convey the evidence for consciousness that goes beyond the fysica brain.

I highly recommend this book as it is approachable for non-scientists and skeptics.

I’m a believer

I appreciated the scientific approach to consciousness. I want to take my meditation to the next level. I can’t wait to try Reki and hypnotherapy. The author narrates it beautifully, and patiently explaining scientific ideas to an unscientific community without condescending patronizing the reader.

Very intriguing

The delivery was both very profound and exquisite. I was a little rushed through the listening, but I will definitely be purchasing the actual book for further study and contemplation.

Refreshing, intelligent, dynamic mind

A neuroscientist convincingly addressing the mystery of consciousness and the mind. Even topics in the ether were incorporated with an interesting and rational open mindedness. Effective style of communication and an energy that could be felt. Worthy of a second read.

Amazing Journey from Reductionism to Spirituality

I cannot recommend this book highly enough, it is an excellent and commendable account of a neuroscientist journey from skeptic to spiritual awakening, told with honesty and integrity, and summarizing much of the evidence which led her to change her beliefs. I wish every scientist or science enthusiast would read this book.

Absolutely fascinating

If you can keep up when MHW digs into the hardcore science, you will be greatly rewarded with a fascinating overview of East Meets West, Spirituality meets Materiality. Some authors should let professionals do the reading; this was an exception,
